 The lady wanted to go to Trader Joe’s to get some pizza dough and I found this for $6/6 pack. The same brand also had an IPA and a double IPA for the same price

IBC is good too. Might have stop traders to get that beer for beer bread and batter?

This one went down way too easy and I had to make an exception and go with a second one.

Singlecut Jenny said tonight, an IPA with a very high IBU

Opened a bottle of whiskey my old unit had made and I like my whiskey so I ordered 2 bottles. It was made here in Rochester NY. My old platoon Sgt now he’s a CSM dropped it off to me at work last week took me a week to finally try some. It’s alright.... 

Sorry, I gave up alcohol while in the Army and have been a tea teetotaler since 1968.

 

Partied hard at LSU and in high school in New Orleans. Hit  the French Quarter many times. Had many Hurricanes at Pat O'Brien's and got drunk on a number of occasions.

 

Outgrew the stupidity of getting drunk and gave up alcohol for good in 1968. Never looked back.

 

Don't need alcohol to have a good time and by quiting drinking alcohol it helped my sex life, too.

 

 

 

Well this thread isn't about non drinkers.  I rarely drink but yesterday was my birthday and my son bought two bottles for me.  Michters and Angels Envy.  

 

I fell and hurt my left leg four days ago, so after dinner I poured a triple shot of Michters over the rocks to help with the pain.  It was pretty smooth.  

 

Those two bottles will last a year or more.

If you're smart, you'll give the Angels Envy away as a gift. It's aged in old port wine barrels rather than in charred oak. You can taste the port in the whiskey. I'm not a fan, especially for $50.

I had a few White Claw raspberry flavored hard seltzers and some BBQ chicken last night. A refreshing end to Summer.

Spotted Cow is arguably the best beer I’ve ever had. It goes down like water out of the tap.

 

Tonight I'm having a nice generous pour of Bushmills black bush with one rock

Tonight's drink of choice? A glass of raspberry melomel (fruit flavored mead)

Watching the football game.  Sipping  2 shots of 100 proof vodka mixed with black raspberry sparkling water.  Helps me relax.  

Rum & Coke for me tonight.

Used to love this stuff!  But now it's just too sweet for me.  Henry Weinhart's Root Beer is my choice now.  Perfect after a hot summer day on the water!

Interesting you say that. I used to prefer Pepsi over Coke but now Pepsi is too sweet for me and I’d chose Coke over Pepsi, even though both of them and many other soda are sugar laden, lol. 
 

Rum and Coke sounds good right now and it’s only 0935, lol.
