I am looking at a Curado 70 MGL K real hard ?

For me if I have to choose one of my reels. it will be Anteras DC, you can cast light weight or heavy weight lures with it, light weight I mean as light as weightless Senko and you can cast it a mile.

but since that reel little insanely expensive I would go with Metanium DC or Metanium 20 MGL.

Antares 70A.  One of the finest reels I have ever used.  It is a work of art but its pretty much flawless in every way.  If I could afford it, I would have a couple more.   

 

My only gripe is fishing it in cold weather>  It's like holding an ice cube. 

Probably a SLX 150 or a Curado K.  I was looking at them around Thanksgiving, and decided to go with Daiwa.  Been thinking about them ever since.

I have the 2020 met, it’s a fantastic reel. Very smooth and incredibly light. The reel I have my eye on right now is the met dc. Reason being I like throwing chatterbaits on dc and I’m looking to upgrade from my curado. 

Aldebaran mgl with a 95mm handle ?

The 20 Metanium would be my pick, I do like the Bantam as well.

The frame on the 50 platform is still a favorite of mine.. Curado 50E, Chronarch 50E, Scorpion XT1000, Core 50 and Aldebaran 50.

 

Of the current Shimano lineup I'd say the Bantam is a must have. Can't comment on the 2020 Met since I haven't used one yet.

How much convincing you need.... About $410 at Asian Fishing Portal (Ebay).  I have ordered from them 3 times and have had great luck. 

I'm gonna need you guys to stop all the Antares talk. 

I've got my heart set on a Calcutta. One of these days...
