For those that are wondering, I live on the St. John’s near Debary, which is the town on the northwest side of lake Monroe  I’m about an hour south of lake George.

There is very little, if any grass in the river itself from south of lake Harney to lake George. You can thank the state for that with all their spraying. If just ridiculous how much they do. North of George I’m not sure. I know George have eelgrass in it.
The river itself is mainly lily pads, lay downs and trees.

it's happening to a lot of fisheries around the whole country. it's ridiculous the amount of vegetation they want to kill. all the pleasure boaters around here complain about the grass

  • So I’m not crazy?    I wonder if he’s ever been flipping some lily pads and seen throttleplate standing in the middle of the pad field?

  • Congrats to John crews, hard not to like that guy

  • Gotta see if I can get it up running on the Tablet - down in the garage today doing more pour-foam.   That's my 'work' now - retirement is a good thing.

First bag to hit the scales 23 lbs!!!

they’ve killed all the grass in my region since I’ve been alive, probably well before. It’s stupid but it can’t be stopped. The only place they don’t spray is the industrial part of downtown with no neighborhood associations. I’ve seen grass in almost every shot on live coverage, if you want to see “no grass” come on up here

Yeah it runs all the way down south to Stick Marsh/Headwaters at least, not sure if it continues past that.

Aaron Stickmarsh/Headwaters is part of the St Johns Water Management Area (SJWMA)

My smart tv is smarter than me, is there a way to watch “Live” on my tv when it’s not on FS1?

Not that I know of. I watch on a phone Thursday Friday and FS1 Saturday and Sunday

Just go to your browser on your TV and go to bassmaster website and watch it or you should be able to cast it to your TV from your laptop or phone.

If you don't have FS1, there's a link under the Bass Live video player on their site highlighted in blue for international viewers. If you have a VPN and it allows you to select a country, choose one far away and you'll be able to get the player to work when you click on it. I watched from sunny France today. But first, before you set your VPN, close the bassmaster site and clear your cache/cookies. Don't preserve Favorites website data if Bass * is saved in your favorites. After you've set the VPN you can open the page again. Takes about 30 seconds max. Enjoy.

What kills me with some of these pros is how animated they are when fighting a bass . Rod waving violently  around like an orchestra conductor .

Old Bob Downey with a monster! That’s one lucky dude right there, he’s reeling on one side of the boat and the bass is jumping on the other side of the boat! ?

That happened to me with the 8 lb bass I have mounted on my wall. Terrifying

Then the monster jumps out of his hands while he’s holding it up for the camera.

Stetson blaylock and Patrick walters both using a different kind of forward facing sonar, standing on the front of their boat and looking around with their eyes

I didn’t get to watch yesterday but I’m guessing that’s how Jon Cox bagged 31 lbs also

I bring it up on my iPad or iPhone and airstream it to my tv.
