Spinning: I like my BG, but have a couple other Daiwa models to try....if I can get myself to use more spinning combos.  :D

I try to rotate thru my reels, but have several preferred models.  Purple Alphas, TD-Z 105H, 50th Anniversary Zillion, OG Fuego, Curado 201E7, Chronarch 100B, Excense DC, Pinnacle Primmus, Pixy (or two), Helios Air, Gen1 STXL, and Patriarch XT (blue one).  I've purchased a few reels the past 3 years that may get added to this list, but I haven't been out much during those 3 years.

I haven't used my Black Max 1600C much, but have been impressed with it the little I did use it.  Handles light lures in wind quite well.  I seldom use a Heavy power rod, but the old aluminum framed Trion I use on one of them is a casting machine for such a cheap reel.

Spinning: Kage LT 2500, Fuego LT 2500

Casting: Daiwa Tatula 100, Tatula SV, Tatula Elite, Zillion HD, Johnny Morris Platinum.

The BPS reel is great for my frogging needs. The Daiwa's do the rest.

Nice nice

30 year old various Team Daiwa and equally old Shimano Curados and Castaic. Got a newer Tatula I like. As my

“ vintage” reels wear out I’ll slowly replace them. Too bad you can’t get most parts for the old Japanese made TDs
