Like a football against his body?

Until somebody comes up with some good evidence that manhandling a live fish is good for it, I think I'll pass on carpet bouncing, bear hugs and tossing fish back into the water.

Yep like that. He was wearing a rain jacket that was wet, the fish was wet, and it was raining tho. He was clearly trying to prevent the fish from escaping. I think the fish would be fine. The fish are Probably doing a lot better than had I caught them and deep fried

Killing game outright - and quickly - for consumption is humane. Fwiw, I'm on the borderline of humane when I'm bird hunting with a 28 ga.  ;)

And of course, Scott got himself a decent 'hammer handle'...typical for up here as they chase the same type of lures that bass do.

I’ll try to watch and let you know if it works on my end

a lot of times refreshing the page solves a myriad of issues

This was my favorite event to watch this year.  I fish the La Crosse area a few times every year and I know the area pretty well.  It's so cool seeing pros fish areas that I've been to.  What's even better is that I'm going there in a couple weeks for a week long fishing trip.  Should be great.

I have never fished that area but I have been there for work a few times.  Its such nice scenery.  Looks like tons of backwater areas to fish.  Endless bass habitat.  I could honestly probably live in the LaCrosse area.

If I had to live in another state I would probably choose WI.  It's hard to beat.

Same.  I travel there for work regularly.  It has the best deer habitat that exists.  The western portion is just lush, rolling hills of hardwoods mixed in with patches of agriculture.  Its no wonder that area has produced more trophy class bucks than anywhere else in the country.

How’d you know I fish a treatment plant? Hahah. Always the intake not the output………….

I don’t know what it is, Im thinking it’s the lock/dam

between pools 7&8 or 8&9

It is a spillway from the above pool and Lake Onalaska.
