Thanks. I’m thinking about selling my Vexus and getting one of these. Not a lot of lunds down south. I’m thinking the riveted hull could allow some flex that a welded hull won’t. 
 

FYI my ‘21 Vexus cracked and getting the hull replaced to a 2023 this month.

FYI my ‘21 Vexus cracked and getting the hull replaced to a 2023 this month. 

Alumacrafts are also a riveted hull - for a lower priced option.

As mentioned above the Pro-V Bass is an IPS2 riveted hull.

As for allowing for 'hull flex' - 

my rig gets me there & back in anything I ask it to safely.

May all come down to how that happens.

It's a basically a hull design that has proven itself on big water for several years.

Lund uses it in a few of different boat lines.

Kinda like the Alumacraft - my 50 year old F-9 hull is still watertight...don't think it's been subjected to Gluvit or any other sealers.

 

It's still the same basic hull used in the V-14.

Rivets are way underrated. I’ve got a riveted 1957 that’s tough as nails (not Lund but I bet Lunds last that long if not longer)

 

On the other hand I’ve also got an all welded dura craft that’s very tough

15 ft Polar Kraft Mod -V ( welded hull) with a 25 hp Yamaha 4-stroke.

Absolutely, and a leaking or popped rivet is a much cheaper, easier fix than a cracked weld.

JB weld top and bottom, it’ll last about 15 or more years

Just make sure it's the 'right' JB weld

 

For filling the holes from the original seats and braces on the F-9 - I used this

I’ve used the kind that looks like a roll of nickels and had great success . I think it’s the same as what you posted just different form

That's the stuff I used to fill the extraneous holes on the trailer.

As I said above - neither is the F-9

This is a 'just in case' type thing for new riveted aluminum boat owners.
