What lure caught your largest bass in 2022 ?

I didn't catch any really big ones worth bragging about. It is toss up for LMB. Either a Spro little John MD or a Zoom Z Craw Jr. Caught them both on the same day. Biggest SMB came on a Mepps Black Fury Spinner.

Chatterbait and I have only caught two fish on a chatterbait.

My biggest this year was right over 6lbs and it came on a 5\16 BOSS finesse flip jig green pumpkin with a zoom super speed craw trailer.

Mine was also caught on a junebug stick work, Ocho actually. I was pitching it with a pegged weight and dropped it off the edge of lilies. BOOM! 8.0 lb and possibly my PB. I caught another 8 a few years ago, but weighed on a different scale. This one looked bigger.

My biggest fish this year was a 5_1 smallie.  I caught it on a hail-mary cast, late in the day, with a T1000 Whopper Plopper 110 on a lake that beats my butt 90% of the time.

5” black senko pond fish 6.8lbs NC

Modified Zorro Short Arm Aggravator. 6.21lbs NY. I count this one as larger, because of region and the body of water. The pond above is just a little too easy for 5-6lbers

Photos are already posted in other places

can we get a pic of the moded Zorro?

Yeah sure thing. The skirt is lumaflex with some tinsel and the blade is one that I received in a collection of blades. It is a Zorro blade no longer produced and I can’t find many similar ones.

7.98lb. April 24th, with a 3/8oz Molix Kento jig in Wild Craw with a Zoom Z-Craw Jr. in Cali 420 as a trailer.

This jig was recommended to me by @GetFishorDieTryin and I don’t believe I ever got to thank him, so thanks!!! It’s become my go-to jig, I carry it in 1/4oz and 3/8oz weights & Wild Craw and Black-Blue-Purple colors. Been meaning to get some 1/2oz for lake fishing too.

Booyah buzz bait for me. My biggest was a four pound large mouth.

Thats awesome, what a beautiful fish, she's practically pristine.

Glad they worked out for you.  My top 3 are Black/Blue, Blue Craw and Wild Craw, but dont sleep on spanish craw.

Strike King KVD HC Flat Side 1.5 or 6th Sense Crush Flat 75X. I don't remember which fish was bigger, both were between 6.25 and 6.5, one in January, the other in October.

I've caught two really nice fish over 5 on the Crush Flat 75x.

Over time I've found certain CBs just have a certain wobble to them that makes them big fish baits.   Safe to say the 75x is a big fish CB.
