What is this creature bait?

Bait on the left is a RI Smallie Beaver 3.5". Bait on the right looks like something you flip for Goliath Grouper.

I believe I've seen that on War of the Worlds.

The '53 version or the disaster that was the 2005 version?

Whatever it is, it’s just about big enough to boil it, and eat it yourself. ?

Wow!!!! Think of the hook.

I used to throw giant plastics like that, and bigger, when fishing hard bottom and jetties for the saltwater bass in Socal.. not sure I'd use it for largemouth haha

I would say it was a maxscent bait that was in the water for a while but appendages don't match.

Had a 4" create hawg swell to the size of my hand after sitting in a bucket all summer.

Rage craw that has been in the water a couple of months and seriously swollen.

I think of this when I see people catfishing with shrimp. What an awful exchange!

I know this will inspire some hate, so here's the disclaimer: I'm joking, kinda. ?

I knew I've seen that bait somewhere before.

It looks like a berkley chiggercraw on steroids

I’ve considered making some giant baits by soaking them in a mixture of water and bait attractant. Never got around to it though. I don’t know which plastics would work, and no idea how long it would have to soak.

I've seen lizards that look like baby alligators ?
