This video made me join TikTok so I could see how deep this relationship went. He's got about 50 videos of himself hanging out with this fish. No idea of the time period. They chill like best friends and it eats from his hands in the vids I've seen so far. It comes to him when called. Absolutely amazing stuff.

That is really interesting.  I might have to have my daughters show me on Tik Tok, as much as that pains me.  This is too cool not to check out.  Thanks again.

So I just watched one in which he took a dive this spring after the winter. It was a spiring reunion after all that time. Just incredible.

That is crazy!!   It would be interesting to have someone else dive down and see what the bass does!

Says the guy that just signed up for TikTok?

It's a Saturday and I wanted to watch fish videos. Come on now. We all know this isn't about idiot teens drinking laundry detergent. I have an Instagram for the same reason. Saw some fish info and signed up to see the rest. Doesn't make me an Instagram queen.

Bass would 100% eat humans if they were bigger.

I remember watching a video many years ago where a diver made friends with a Barracuda. When he dove in the area the fish would always visit him. He fed it by hand, and he even gave it nice scratchies, which the fish loved. They were pals. Then one day, and quite out of the blue, the 'cuda clamped down on homeboy's face.

So like having a Pit or Chimp as a pet ?

So that's how @A-Jay does it. He hires guys to seduce the big smallies and make them docile, then he gets the waypoints.

That’s disgusting!!! He says they are hungry, their massive obesity indicates otherwise

My mom has about a dozen like this that come to her house just about every night for cookies. They take the cookies from her and dunk them in their water pot she leaves for them to soften them up to eat them. When she's got the big wood front door open and they're on the deck with just the screen door shut you can see their little hands reaching under the screen door into the house doing the "gimmie" motion for cookies.

Couldn't be me but I'm glad they make her happy. Crazy woman also has a couple dozen indoor cats. She set up a sanctuary in her basement for them. Then she's got some squirrels that come up to her for hand feeding.

Tell her to give them some cotton candy, it disappears when they dip it………

So like you when you fish a spinnerbait. Comes up empty.

I used to have big smallies follow my raft around. Probably because I dropped down crayfish just to watch them eat it. To be able to dive with bass in clean, clear water is an eye opening perspective that a lot of fishermen don't have. You quickly understand how perfectly adapted the fish is to it's environment, which you can't see if you only see fish on the end of a line and out of water.

I'm betting they think the same thing about us,

especially while they are hanging off a thumb.

Very cool. There is a similar story with a river and a tiger shark and it was over a period of years.
