Got my first boat (not counting old jon boat). '18 Crestliner VT 17. Lots to learn, for sure.

  • I finally have my first "real" bass boat.  Up til now I've been fishing off just about that anything that floats besides a bass boat.  Kayaks, coleman crawdad, a 25foot cobalt, but never had a bass bo

  • Just picked up my new 2021 Phoenix 920 Elite last week, already had it out and its a huge upgrade over my old tracker.

With a 9 and 11 year old I wanted something flexible in case they want to bring friends.  I love slop fishing and this goes about as skinny as my 521 did all while enabling a better parenting experience and not screwing up alone time.  My free time is at night without the kids so lights were paramount.

My free time

What is this thing you talk about? ?

I grew up with a few tillers, eventually a 17' Sea Nymph and I'm fully aware of the benefits that layout offers.  If my next boat was just for me, it would likely be a 20' Lund tiller.

Free time is the farce I used to rationalize cool lights. ?

The Lund 2075, Warrior 2090, YarCraft 2095BTX were all also on my shopping list.  I prefer the glass boats for the dry storage, but the Lund is cavernous.  Based on what was available this one fit perfectly and will make this and future summers great!

Just got back from picking up the Lund 1875 PVB XS, 12 hours each way to WI, but it was well worth it. Big shout out to @FryDog62 for lots of info about the boat, and also @A-Jay with some dimension info. Can't wait to get her broken in on the water!

Dang it Junger, I am jealous!!  Hope you love it.  Will probably be my next boat.

Just picked up the new boat, it will be a dual duty salt and freshwater rig. I am paralyzed from the waist down and the tiller makes navigating the inside of the boat easier for me and gives me more space for the size.

Tillers rock.  So much space.  Glad you found one!

I posted this in another forum, thought I'd drop it here.  2021 Tracker 190 Pro Tournament Ed.  Since this picture, I've put a single power pole on it as the dealer refused to put a second one on it.  Said it would make the back end sit to low in the water.  I'd always intended to put two poles on it and to find it out it won't take two is a let down.

Finally got off the bank and broke into Kayak fishing for this year.  I picked a Moken 12.5v2 over the winter.  What a difference the mobility makes.  It's amazing how different the pressure levels are once you get 100ft off the bank areas.  I added a Lowrance Hook2 5 in the sonar pod and it has been great with the tripleshot.

Posted a pic of the boat and vehicle last year but I've been doing some updates since then.  Thought I'd post some new pictures.

New dual wheel jack.

Finally took the new rig out for the first time for break in procedures.  I can tell the hot foot is something I am going to have to get used to.  Also trimming the motor and getting on plane is a lot different than I am used on my previous Triton.
