Instead of the power pole some guys on my river use the Torqeedo.

Ice finally came off one on the smaller local reservoirs and was able to get the winter purchase out.

Out for the second voyage.  I didn't get a chance to get a picture the first time. Love it so far but maneuvering can be tricky.  I just wish I would have caught something today. Got skunked.

Posts like these make this one of my favorite categories in the BR forums. Anyone that has ever bought a new or used boat, kayak, or other watercraft knows the feeling you just had today on your maiden voyage.

I had been eyeing a new Caracal for quite some time, but with the way the prices keep skyrocketing I just couldn't stomach it. Did a 180 and bought a kayak instead. Only been out once so far, but I could see this being addicting. Just something about being right on the water.

Rocked an 8ft Bass Raider from craigslist for several years but, finally joined the "real" boat club with a Cajun 174zw with a 115 Yamaha, fish-and-ski was the only way I could sell it to the other half.

2005 Ranger 519vx

Got a new kayak via warranty and here it is pretty much ready to go.  Rigged up with stick steer for my motor and it is fantastic.  Last shot is from my recent trip to the susky so you can see the mounting plate I made for the anchor system off the bow.
