So I’m pretty late in updating the forums on this but pretty much as soon as I got to TX, I purchased a Hobie Mirage Outback. The store I bought it from in Austin was kind enough to install the anchor trolley you see at a discounted price. They are called No Bad Days Kayak. I can’t recommend them enough. It’s the best customer service I’ve received for any purchase.

Very satisfied with the purchase. The kayak is fast, stable, and maneuverable.

Congrats..

Putting her in the water today. Just picked it up, 2020 bass tracker classic xl, with a 40hp. Downsizing from a z18. I am pleasantly surprised by the amount of crap I can store on this boat.

Nice ride there, man.

I'll have to take a 'beauty shot' of the truck/boat combo this year.

I posted one pic from the sellers ad before when i picked this up in winter but finally got a decent shot of my own after changing gear lube and washing it. Still cannot believe how great it looks for an 05. Also got new trailer tires (to replace the originals ?).

30,500. Boat is a 2005 but motor is 2013. Somehow it was ordered with no ski pylon (on a fish and ski boat) so thats close to another 2 grand for ranger to install it. That's outside my abilities since theyve got to move the verado steering pump. Needed new tires. Probably new bunks soon. Otherwise solid and electronics and trolling motor work just fine for me without upgrading right away.

Looks like a great canvas!

Are you at Home Depot to get needed materials for the redo?

I thought it would be a great canvas to make it mine as well. Haven't owned it long enough to need supplies from Home Depot yet!

@Born 2 fish it appears you also have a massive garage. Is that a pontoon next to the phoenix? What else you got in there? A plane?

I wish that was my garage that was the day I picked it up at the dealership. But it does fit in my garage with room for the truck.
