Not a d**n thing wrong with that vessel ! I'm wanting a kayak. I'd like two, or a tandem. So wife can go. Can't talk her into it.

Our oldest just graduated college, last month. Youngest is a sophomore in college, I feel your pain ! !

I picked this up on Craigslist back in November as a birthday present to myself. Not as nice as some on here but a big upgrade for me. Gonna wait til I get more seat time before I add anything but definitely need to decide on an anchor setup soon.

Is that a skum line on the side of it already or did you buy it like that?

Very nice!  Those are nice kayaks, thought about getting two of those about 5 years ago for my wife and I.  Then found a bass tracker for the same price as the two of them together and decided I was too lazy to paddle! haha

Yeah I've been fishing it in the creeks off the dirty Delaware atleast 1-2 times a week since mid November. Just cleaned it after taking the photo earlier this week.

Nothing wrong with that!  I was trying to stay at a certain budget and had my eye on the market for a few months before seeing this one. I think I paid a fair price and its in excellent condition so I'm happy. Might add a jon boat or another kayak this season or next for the times I have company.

Looks kinda like @TnRiver46 Jon boat except nicer and no rust!  Beached on the rocks all the same though.  Lol

That reminds me! I took a pic for you before Christmas and forgot to post it haha. I was scrambling all thru loose rocks and mud and thought “I bet @gimruiswould get a kick out of this.” They can’t put a very good floating dock in a lot of the places I fish, the water is too swift and goes up and down several feet each day (boat in pic is my non rusted one ?)

? ? ?  in all reality though, owning a boat for a college student like me was getting too expensive, even the aluminum can I owned. I'm looking into kayaks, but really I just pay $50 to a friend when they invite me out on the water.

Just purchased this boat, 1977 Starcraft, 60 HP Mercury 2 stroke 3 cyl, 12V 55lb Minnkota Powerdrive V2 with CoPilot.  Came with a dual purpose group 27 battery for outboard, 12V group 27 deep cycle for trolling motor.  Got a really good price on this boat and have some $ left over in the budget to add some graphs.  Really excited about this since my last boat was a 12' aluminum with a 6 HP motor, so this is a big step up for me.  I'd like to put a graph on the bow and one at the console.  I'm not interested in forward facing sonar at this point.  I'd like to have SI at the console and DI at the bow, I'd also like to network them together, and have at least one with mapping capabilities.  My budget is $1500 for 2 units.  I've been looking at the 7" Garmin Echomap UHD's and Helix 7's, and I'm having a tough time deciding between the 2.  My goal is to improve my understanding of electronics as one of the tools to catch more and better fish.  I'd appreciate any input you fine folks might have for someone who fishes local club tournaments (I'm not gonna fish club tournaments in this boat, just practice for them, I usually fish as a co-angler).

Ditched the ascend 10t and finally got in a nicer ride with some upgrades. 63CV, cellblok with switchblade and sonar mount, power pole. I'm mostly a river guy, but it works on lakes as well. It's a really flat so the wind takes it for a ride but the power pole helps with that a lot. Once I get an anchor trolley setup itll be sweeter than sweet. Any ideas/thoughts on what else I should do?
