There is a new spot I’m fishing below a dam. All rocks below the surface, and the water is stained. In this area, there are Smallmouth, Walleye and Musky. 
It’s actually the Fox River in Illinois. I’m focused on smallmouth, if I catch the others it’s a plus. Today I was throwing the Bandit 100 Crankbait in a Brown Crawfish with orange belly. It did a great job bouncing off the rocks. But I’m thinking I want something that makes more noise. The dam is loud as it is then with the stained water, I don’t think I’m attracting all the fish that I can.

 

Any suggestions on an alternative crank that makes more noise?

The loudest bait I own that matches a bandit 100 type is a Spro Little Jon 50 type R.   Colors are fantastic, you'll find something, the hardware is even more exceptional, good luck not pricking your fingers tying it on.  

 

Honestly so many choices, so many good baits, profile sizes, etc.   If you like that bait minus the silent aspect, take it the tackle store, find one similar but that rattles, and start from there.

Check out the Strike King Hybrid Hunter.  Has a big rattle in there, and runs 2-5 feet down.  Great for river fishing, I've caught some nice smallies on them.  The junior size is great as well.

Instead of trying to find a louder bait,’you might want to try using a bait that’s more visible. Chrome or silver might be seen more easily than heard over the ambient noise. Hope you find something that works for you

You will never over power that sound. Like stated about best thing to do is make it stand out. You can also try to focus more on the seams.

Megabass Griffon.  Good size for smallmouth and it has a sporadic action.

I know where you are at, but never been there myself. Try a rapala dt4 or dt6. I have good luch with those in rivers.
