All I know is that all this pressure on these fish offshore is going to make the bite really good up shallow for @Catt in the next couple years 😂😂😂

  • I've always been an early adopter of tech in bass fishing...Since back when having a sonar unit at BOTH the console and the bow was a big deal.  Vertical 'video game' fishing on greyscale 2d sonar, GP

  • This may come as a shock to some of y'all but there are thousands of bass caught daily without FFS.   Some with stringer larger than what these Pros caught.

  • In regards to this past Bassmaster Elite series tournament..

@Pat Brown they ain't putting pressure on these fish.

It's fun watching these guys recognizing everywhere they're fishing.

I realize that you posted this with some sarcasm but there is some truth to it.

I heard from multiple sources last season here on highly pressured lakes in Minnesota that the deeper offshore bite was way off and guys that started fishing shallow around weeds and docks were bringing in bigger bags.  10 years ago it was the exact opposite and deeper/suspended fish were not pressured, while shallower fish were.  The approach has taken a 180 degree turn.

Obviously it may vary from one body of water to another and we're all fishing different parts of the country.  I just find it interesting that the shallow bite may be the better, less pressured option again now.

26-13 on the day for Milliken lol. He’s gonna be kicking himself for not being on todays side of the lake yesterday

Holy fujita 31 lbs

Right. Guy had like 22 pounds in the first 30 minutes of fishing.. totally insane. You see his monitor up front?
🤣🤣🤣

I’ve learned a lot watching this tournament, they’ve talked a great deal about the FFS. It’s awesome tech that’s for sure, still, I’m OG on fishing the shallow waters.. kinda like RC said this morning, can’t stop doing what years have proven. He also said we’ll be dead in 10 years anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I love that guy I swear haha

FS1 -- a lot of big girls being caught with spinning gear. Saw one of 'em go up and take the lure on the live scope.

Good Fishing

My pick to win is either Fujita or Milliken with how the day has started. Fujita will be tough to beat, especially if he catches a few more pounds.

Milliken eats pickled eggs on the boat.  Gotta say I relate to that.  Now I'm really pulling for him 😂

Just watched for 30 minutes; boring as hell. Those play-by-play commentators are terrible - lol. I never saw a screen shot during that time. In boat coverage just so-so. No anglers explaining anything. Maybe I just picked the wrong 30 minutes to watch. I’ll just stick to BassTrak the rest of the afternoon…or go fishing myself 😆

Something he’s done on his channel a few times as a joke. Glad to see he’s not changing now that he’s a pro lol

Fujita is winning with 4 fish still, one more fish and he likely wins this thing.

If you were watching this morning the broadcast team was on FS1. Saturday and Sunday on the BASS website they have anglers come on the air and talk while the normal crew is on TV. Can definitely be boring.

Schlapper is throwing a bladed jig now and Johnston is sight fishing. Sounds like the fish are moving up!

Fujita just caught a big for his 5th. Think he has it locked up now.

You beat me too it. Johnston said that was the dumbest bed fish he has ever fished for

Schlapper is having a terrible day. If he could boat a couple more than 2 pounds he’s still got a chance

Something tells me blaukat won’t notice the people fishing shallow ……. Selectively

He 1000% won’t or will mention it for 10 seconds in a 10 minute rant. I used to like watching him, but after his 50th rant about live scope it just gets old. You can only beat a dead horse for so long.

He's sitting at 97 lbs, 7 lbs over 2nd.
