I posted the corkscrew hook that LTB sent me a while back, and they’ve done it again. Most of the stuff they send seems pretty crappy, so I almost enjoy the laughs more than the lures. And the fact that my wife can’t figure out how to cancel the 3-month subscription that she got me for Christmas 😂

 

Any ideas for these? They look like hat clips, but they’re pretty sharp and the clip is too narrow to fit on any hat of mine.

Some sort of siwash style hook intended for a trailer on something like a spinnerbait?

Put it on your hat 🤣 It is a functional hook in case you need it...  

Maybe some type of inline treble replacement?

probably a hat ornament.  unless there were a pack of them...

Did they come in a package? Brand?

"Looks" like a hook I saw a guy pitching at a booth at ICAST several years ago.  Supposed to be able to tie a knot onto it in like 2 seconds or something.  I could be wrong though. 

Even the Bait Monkey wont be able to find a use for those hooks.

That looks like a trailer hook for a jig, buzzbait, or spinnerbait to me. 

Use it to clean the paint out of the line eye on cheap jigs.

One thing it would work for is as an inline replacement hook on a Spook or other Heddon bait that uses that metal thing. I can't believe someone would create a hook for just that purpose though.

 

 

It reminds me of Lew's Speed Sticker hooks. I can't believe I've still got a couple of them.

 

 

I would hate to subscribe to a company that sent me unsolvable mysteries 😆

My guess would be that its just a stupidly designed keeper hook.

One year, the wife got me an LTB subscription - half the stuff they sent me went immediately into the trash.

I know more about LTB than anyone on these forums, and I can say without a doubt that you should drop that subscription ASAP!!  Never, ever, ever use LTB.

 

And anyone thinking about Mystery Tacklebox....same thing.  They filed for bankruptcy last year.  LTB should have already...they're running on fumes.  

 

And for transparency - yes, they both used to be Bassresource partners...back when they were both great deals and at their peak.  They've gone downhill since.

 

If they won't let you unsubscribe, then contest it on your CC bill.  You'll never get that $$ back, I guarantee it.
