Did anyone throw a Bandit crankbait (100, 200 or 300) last year?  Did it catch any bass? Smallmouth or largemouth?  Pond, lake or stream?

 

I won't throw mine away, but it's been years since I've thrown them...

I throw their flat - maxx every year, they work. No reason the 100/200/300 wouldn;t work unless they had no hooks.

Yes 100/200 and yes caught fish. I've had some really good days with them, especially the 100. An old river rat I knew loved Bandits, especially the older ones before they got bought out in 2014. 

 

Have you replaced them with something else? Or just not a go to anymore?

 

I'm finding I prefer different size, action etc. crankbaits based on water conditions, time of year. I mean I think we all do that but I'm finding certain lures get bit better at certain times of the year for me.

They are still popular here in the Deep South. Very good river bait. Great color selection. Affordable. I used the 200 the most

I got a pile of them in a bulk crank purchase,  good to know they are worth throwing.  I've never tied one on. 

 

I throw Bandits all the time, mostly 100 and 200s. NH smallmouth go crazy for the white ones especially. It's a bait up here that guys have heard of but nobody throws.

Bass quit biting those 8 years ago so send them all to me for proper disposal.

 Bandit 100 and 200 will always work.  The Bandit 200 was even copied by some custom balsa makers.  

I remember my first Bandit 100.  You ordered them by mail and got five for 12.99. I got Tennessee Shad.  The chartreuse blue back is still catching them.  Tom is right.

Yes. I don't know if the current ones are as good as the older pre pradco built ones but they work.

The 200 with a black crappie crank wrap has been good to me.

 

I don’t use cranks often but the Bandit 300 is on of the first ones that I use.

They work, I've caught plenty of fish on them.

The older ones seem to work better for me, or it just might be a mental thing. Paint jobs look better now but the older ones that look like they were painted in third grade art class are the fish catchers.

I buy everyone I can find at that fishing flea markets. Bought 12 of the brown craw with chartreuse belly ones for $10 once. They are getting harder to find though.
