Bummer, I was looking forward to a Denver/Seattle Super Bowl.

Congrats to you Seahawk fans.

I had to look it up to see if a Seahawk really exists.

FYI, since most of you haven't been following the Hawks, remember the Seahawks Superbowl winning defense called themselves "The Legion Of Boom"? Well, they've been replaced. The #1 defense in the NFL is now called "The Dark Side", and they're stronger than their infamous predecessors - which is a scary thought. You might as well get used to the name. You're going to be hearing it for a while.

The Seahawks scored enough points in the first 13 seconds to beat the 49r's. They didn't need a single offensive snap. The Dark Side hasn't had a single touchdown against them in 12 consecutive quarters.

Rams? Bears? It doesn't matter. Bring it.

btw, the Bills got robbed by the refs. They're the better team and should've won.

I think the interception call with Brandin Cooks was the turning point. To me he was in possession and down when the ball was taken from him.

It appeared they rushed to a judgement on that one.

Please tell me I’m wrong, I may have missed something on that play

  • Super User

I think they called it an interception on the field and then there wasn’t enough to overturn that on replay. It’s one of those where evidence either way is scarce because you can’t see the ball.

If you’re called down the play is over, Period!

They said he didn’t have possession when he hit the ground therefore it’s still in play and can be taken away.

It was a judgement call which has lost more games for the better team than anything else.

We've been following the Hawks vicariously thru you ... 😁 ... And we know about the NFC West more than we care to know .... 🤜🤛

Haha ... JK .... Love the passion (@Mike L , if you would just give me a heads up of an impending ban, I'd appreciate it 😄)

Therefore the call goes to the offense. They were quick to make the call because Denver came up with the ball.

I'd like to share a story. A true story.

Team A drafts a young, unproven, injury-riddled quarterback with the expectation that he has the skill set and durability for the long haul. They also trade for a first round journeyman. The draft pick gets hurt twice before the season even starts, so the journeyman takes over. He plays in 18 games, has no major injuries, and wins 14. But he fails to win the division or a playoff game, so they let him walk for the deer-in-the-headlights rookie.

Team B picks up this journeyman in the offseason. They win 14 games, the top seed in the conference, earn a first round bye, and then throttle their first opponent in the divisional round.

Team A wins 9 games, 5 of which were accounted for by the unproven rookie because of more injuries.

Fanbase of Team A absolutely refuses to accept the fact that allowing journeyman to walk was a mistake and thinks that the rookie will lead them to the promised land. A dedicated but realistic fan of Team A was a voice of dissent after last season and kept saying "14 wins is 14 wins." But nope, they moved on and wanted to the see the shiny new toy.

Team B's story is still yet to be fully written, but out of pure spite, dedicated but realistic fan hopes they hoist the Super Bowl trophy and give the rest of this idiotic fanbase heartburn for many, many years because of this disastrous decision they made in the offseason.

I think @VolFan hit the nail on the head, the call was interception and not enough evidence to overrule the call.

And I was being nice about my posts, I wanted to and did wake up to my Jeep in tact ... 😄

No worries @gim , Team JJa will come around. Give him a full season to puke all over himself ... 😁

That’s because Team A let the Journeyman’s history dictate a decision because they couldn’t coach him.

Then they made a mistake in taking a rookie only because of a shiny National trophy and not looking at his body of work.

If you can’t coach one with mediocre performance you can’t coach another with none against lesser talent.

Can’t blame the ref for the outcome of the bills game. Bills had 4 turnovers, in the end Josh Allen needed to play better. I also think McDermott needs to go. It’s not going to work with these two. Josh Allen had some wide open receivers he just missed or was too late

As for the broncos, don’t sleep on stidham. While I don’t think they’ll win the super bowl they can make it to one

Just want to send my condolences to both Bills and Broncos fans (sincerely). What a great game.

I like Josh Allen. I'm not a Bills fan so I don't watch all their games and I can't figure out his total failure in playoffs AND overtime games. Seems like he COULD be a contender, but he definitely isn't and I don't know why. It was dumb mistakes that caused the Bills loss and I'm sorry for you. I was rooting for you.

Broncos fans. What can I say? What an outstanding defense. I felt strongly that you had a great chance. One ankle injury away. I know Payton has confindence in this backup because he drags him everywhere and keeps paying him more money every year. I hope he's right, for your sake. My take on it is that Payton is, and always has been, a poor coach that stumbles by accident into great teams (occasionally). I hope your backup excels for you. You have a great team.

Me? I'm all Bears. I'm guessing this is our last game. HOWEVER, I guessed the same thing for the past 11-teen games. We don't deserve to win a Super Bowl...until we do. Go Bears!

Payton is a poor coach? You don’t goto championship games, have a ring under your belt as a poor coach. Look what Denver was before Payton was there. They were far from a great team that Sean Payton “stumbled “into Payton hand picked bo nix when nobody else believed in him. I’m not the biggest Bo nix fan but he does enough to win. You have to credit Payton for helping Bo nix develop into a good NFL qb. Look at Josh Allen and McDermott. It’s hard to win in this league. While I don’t think Payton is a hall of fame coach I consider him to be an excellent coach

Sorry, my opinion and I'm right. I also hate Megabass, Starbucks, viral challenges, IPAs, nearly every Super Bowl halftime show, and fluorocarbon (except for leaders). Your team got an unfair injury to their QB. I hope your backup kicks butt. (I don't know anything about Megabass. I'm just being divisive because it's cool on social media).

I feel bad for Josh Allen and the Bills.

Think I heard that they had 53 yards in penalties on the last drive that setup the chip-shot FG for Denver.

Oh, thought the 49ers got robbed on every drive......by the Hawks defense 😁

On the opening kickoff I thought I was watching the Bears. That was brutal.

Sean Payton can go kick rocks.

I have absolutely nothing against the Denver Broncos but the BS from bounty gate in 2009 has left a deep burn here and for that I hope he never wins a Super Bowl again.

As for Josh Allen and the Bills, they've had so many chances. Winning on the road in the playoffs is very difficult. I saw a stat since he entered the league in 2018: he has accounted for more touchdowns than any other player, and has also accounted for more turnovers than any other player too.

You can't get the good without the bad, or the bad without the good.

With the Niners season ending last night, I have to say the team exceeded expectations and went further given all the injuries incurred, especially to the defensive side of the ball over the course of the season and playoffs. I can proudly say the Niners beat every 2025 playoff teams on their schedule once with the exception of Jacksonville and Houston, Mac Jones as QB2 was 5-3 as a starter and the coaching staff was able to coach up a seemingly weekly group of replacement players to give the team a chance to win the next game

Now time as a member of the 49 Faithful to prepare for the poaching of the coaching staff, the upcoming NFL draft and looking forward to all the injured starters getting healthy in preparation for the 2026 season.

Go Niners!

Not my team just a football fan. I’m actually a giants fan. Agree with you on everything especially flurocarbon and megabass!

Best description of Josh Allen I've ever heard.

Is there a single team in the league that wouldn't want him as the their QB? Can't be many. It can get a whole lot worse real quick.
