It's 2001 all over again for the Pats & Rams. TBH, I wasn't even thinking AFC championship let alone the SB for the Pats. I know, not much of a homer ... haha

I wouldn't mind a Bears Pats reenactment (1985) :)

So your Say'n you'd like to see another 46-10 beating 😁

I don’t need to quote myself here but the Bears have been playing with fire, falling behind and trying to catch up all season. Ain’t gonna work this time.

This is the playoffs, anything can happen.

Carolina took the favored Rams to the last drive.

BUT yeah, ain't looking good.

@Mike L Regardless of how this game/playoff run ends I’m thinking we need a defensive revamp at the end of the season. And in my opinion it starts with our defensive end Montez Sweat who again in my opinion has not played up to his contract. Also the first half our defensive looked exactly the same as it did in our last meeting vs the Packers which was completely confused and yes again just my opinion. I’m looking forward to hearing any and all opinions. And just like that Montez Sweat says…..hold my beer Eric😲🤭

As a silly side note during that last return from commercial break the building lit up with “Bear Down” is the Blue Cross Blue Shield building that I had the pleasure of working on while working as a carpenter. Interesting fact about the project it was the first of its kind in the city of Chicago and drew international attention as the work being done which was adding 24 stories was done while the bottom 33 stories were occupied on a daily basis while we worked above. I spent several months covering open elevator shafts to keep debris from falling on the elevators below which were still being operated. @Blue Raider Bob I’m tagging you in on this as I think you would have loved being on the crew especially given your amazing skills.

Eric

Not only him

Gordon’s only played 3 games

Stevenson is a waste

Edmonds runs out of gas too quick

Jarrett is invisible

Etc Etc

The draft is gonna be all about defense!!

Thanks for making me feel better Mike. You have been as steady as a rock all season and I really appreciate your perspective.

halloween bird GIFNo disrespect my friend but I believe a side order has been delivered 😉😂

@Mike L If I ever run into Ben Johnson I’m going to buy him 2 beers, one from me and one from you 😃

So often first-round matchups can be a bit of a formality.

The first two games this time around were not that.

Congrats to the victors.

Sloppy games today, but somebody had to win them. Makes for exciting games though.

No matter. The 'Hawks are going to destroy anyone that comes to OUR house! The road to the Superbowl is paved through Seattle!!

Well you can count on one thing Packers will not change a thing next year. It’s getting really old . I would offer old Jim Harbough whatever he wanted .

@Glenn I’m not saying we’re going to be meeting but if it happens I hope it’s a good game regardless of the outcome.

Not that it means squat but I’ve heard rumors on the sports shows that this would be the final straw🤔

@Mike L What’s the over/under on a topless Ben Johnson🤣 Also if you were still in Illinois I’d see if you wanted to grab a free Chicago Dog from the Weiners Circle next week.

I think Harbough will end up at the Raiders. Call it a hunch.

As for any teams coming to Seattle for a showdown...

I gotta hand it to the Bears for pulling off a major comeback. They have a reputation for that, and they delivered.

That franchise is a total dumpster fire and I would question the sanity of whoever decided to coach there. Jim is a little nutty, I don’t think John is.

I agree

Plus there’s the “Family Factor”

For a week before every game twice a year all the talk and hype will be the latest version of the “Brother Bowl”

I Just don’t think either one will want a part of anything taking away from the teams and making it about themselves.

Personally I think he wants to stay in the AFC

Watch Miami.

@gim - that was a wild one. The bears D was the biggest change. In the first half they couldn’t stop a cold. In the second half they just shut Jordan love down. Nothing flashy, just stops.

I have a general distrust of teams that go from worst to first in their division because of a new quarterback or new coach (outside of some horrific injury luck in the bad season). This year that’s the panthers, bears, jags, and patriots. I picked three to lose and the patriots to win. We’ll see how close i get with that.

@Mike L - I don’t hate Harbaugh to Miami as a prediction. Tua is ‘Lamar-lite’ in a lot of ways. Miami will get Tyreek back. They have a decent core and if Mcdaniels can get them to 7-8 wins harbaugh can get them 2 more. But I would love to see him come to NY. I don’t root for the giants but lots of people here do. With the defensive front 7 they have, a young but seemingly decent quarterback, and some other pieces around (plus the 5th pick this year) I think they could do a worst to first in that division with him. It would be exciting to see and since half the steeler games are blacked out for Giants/jets I could at least watch something exciting on TV.
