I mean zero disrespect here but I for one like the Saturday schedule games. As someone who normally gets up for work between 2:30-3:00 am Monday-Friday albeit closer to 3:30-4:00 during winter the Sunday and Monday night games wreak havoc on me although it doesn’t currently matter to me as I’ve taken some time off. The Saturday schedule allows me to enjoy the whole game and then depending on how invested I was allows me time to wind down and not have to worry about running on limited sleep or not being able to watch the game and participate in conversation about the game as well. I realize everyone is different but that’s my take on the whole Saturday situation.

I wanted to catch the hawks 9er game but couldn't get the stream. I didn't think it would be that low of a scoring game. Congrats to the Hawks for achieving the No. 1 Seed!

They are going to be a tough out as the top seed at home with that noise and defense.  The Niners were on an offensive tear recently and they only put up 3 points at home.

 

Darnold hoisting the Lombardi trophy would be salt on the wound here.

Seattle's defense is crazy good of course it’s not surprising really.

Congratulations to Seattle on winning last night’s game and earning the Number one seed and the Western Conference title. In what was expected to be an offensive shootout turned out to be a defensive battle with the Niners unit playing above expectations and Seattle’s defense being elite. Now it’s on to the playoffs 

I know this isn’t actually football related but is it just me or does anyone else find the State Farm commercials funny? I’m referring to the 2 current commercials with both Patrick Mahomes & Trey Smith and Aiden Hutchinson involving the goofy characters, I crack up every time I see them even though I’ve seen them repeatedly.

@Mike L Well it looks like another Bears vs Packers showdown, only the upcoming match up is for a heck of a lot more than bragging rights 😬

Congrats to Denver and Seattle for having the 1st weekend off.

Both will be a handful at home.

Although I didn’t watch the whole game I watched enough to realize the Seattle defense is good as any defense there currently is and that makes the offense a seriously dangerous unit as well. I personally think it’s cool seeing Sam Darnold leading them which should make all of you Seahawks fans happy you signed him for 3 years if I’m not mistaken.

Not impressed with the Bears today against the Lions. Detroit showed a lot of heart beating a team on the road that still had something to play for.

 

Not sure why but Chicago seems to start very slow and often gets behind the 8 ball. Then they have to play catch up and get desperate. Not a great strategy when your season is on the line.

Did anyone catch a glimpse of the Chiefs vs. Raiders game?  Man!  Nobody wanted to score.  It was 8 field goals and a safety! Just sloppy ball.  

 

Raiders firmly affirmed why they have the #1 draft spot, but KC?  What happened to them?

On another note, let the silly season begin!  Coaches getting fired, including offensive/defensive coaches; new ones getting hired; QB's and other players let go, and trades coming too.

Chiefs will rebound next season I believe.

No sooner than I posted that, the Falcons fires their head coach.

 

I suspect the Raiders will fire Pete Carroll, given their track record of one-and-done with coaches.

Me neither, that stuff is getting old.
I thought for sure they would come out smokin given the last game, at home, seeding on the line, etc etc
 

Oh well, gotta believe Johnson isn’t gonna let this opportunity slip being on Detroit staff that let it for 3yrs. 
Not even mentioning That team from Wisconsin is coming to town.

Ravens at the Steelers…🤯

As a Steelers fan, I have not posted much in this thread (not ever).  I’ve only been in this forum since after the Steelers have been post Ben declining.  That said.

 

This game was wild.  I don’t think the NFL could have asked for a better last game as a broadcast point.  I didn’t think the Steelers were the better team last game and I’m not sure they are now.  I don’t think they will go anywhere (maybe beat the Texans).  But what an exciting game.  It is 60 minutes post game and my heart rate isn’t down enough to let me sleep.  What a wild finish.

Glad the game is on Prime since I can't get network channels, but not so glad for the late kickoff.  Don't think I've been awake at the end of a late game all year..lol
