@Mike L BEAR DOWN Chicago Bears!!!!!!  I know that wasn’t the sexiest win but I’m going to relish in every victory they achieve. It’s wonderful seeing a team that on paper should not be doing as well as they are but Ben Johnson has this team believing in themselves as a whole unit and I for one am enjoying the ride.

This is something!

Think about it, a year ago today they fired Eberflus!!

Bring on that “Team from Wisconsin”

I’ll tell you right now @Mike L and @Eric 26, they’re going to be tough with that run game!

I love that Monagai kid

Only 5’8” he’s like a spark plug.

I will admit, until today, I thought they Bears were a by-product of an easy schedule combined with a few close wins.

Today, my opinion has changed some. They ran all over a good defense, controlled the line of scrimmage, and maintained possession with all those runs.

They also just did something that the Vikings, Packers, and Lions couldn’t do: beat the Eagles. On the road, to boot.

Next week at Green Bay looms large.

And a 7th round pick at that!

Let's GO Buffalo!! I hope our 2nd half effort is a full

4 quarters next week!

Have an interest in Da Bears, as Kyle Monangai is from my small town.

Giants have their "super bowl" this Monday against the Patriots, hopefully they can do what they've done against them in actual super bowls.

First half I was thinking, “here we go again” with the turnovers and not scoring on their drives where there wasn’t a turnover. Second half, different team, different story. They really needed that second half to fire them up. Hopefully it carries over into next week.

Well at the beginning of the year I predicted the Hawks would be 8-8.  They just won their 9th in convincing fashion, and are serious contenders for a playoff run, although I don't think they have a shot of going all the way.

They have a tough schedule the remainder of the season, so we'll see what they're made of soon.

I don't recall last time I was really anxious for a regular season game.  I'm surprised Pack is giving 5.5 on the early spread.  I think GB defense will be difference - I would be happy to win by 2 or 3 and have Bears cover.   A Pack rout would be OK, too  :)

Let's not get carried away here.  They beat an embarrassing team in purple who was using a third string QB that has never played a snap in the NFL.

They have stiffer tests coming against divisional opponents like the Rams and Niners.

Oh I get it:

May be an image of football and text that says 'If you own a Minnesota Vikings Jersey and have thrown a football with a spiral at least once life, please show practice at CO Performance Center tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in your up to Thank You'

I was just surprised the Hawks have a shot at the playoffs.  They're playing better than I expected.  That's all.

The Pats O-Line is pretty banged up so this could be your Super Bowl :)

AFC and NFC is wide open, anything could happen.

My take so far " don't get mad " ,

NE has had the easiest schedule in NFL history.

Hop off the Cowboy's train..... they have Dak.

Lamar ain't all that.

Rodgers is washed.

Green Bay is going to the SB.

AFC better not let Mahomes and Reed get in.

I know it’s not even halftime, but I think we can go ahead and plan on a post from @Jigfishn10 later…

No, I’m not staying awake for it either. :coffee1:

@Glenn Agreed on the hawks. So I’ll just enjoy the ride to the playoffs. Is it just me or is it tougher in our division with the rams and the niners? I know it’s perception, but the top dogs in the other divisions seem to have an easier ride to the top while the hawks, rams, and niners seem to always have to scrap and scrape against each other for the top slot?

It ebbs and flows from one division to another almost every season.

Last year the NFC North was dominant.  It was in fact the most dominant conference since the 1970's.  But when the playoffs arrived, they all laid a giant egg.

There is usually one division that has a winner which is right around .500 though, sometimes below.  That division appears to the AFC North this season.  The Ravens currently lead it at 6-6.

The Giants really put on a clinic on special teams play that game.

In over 60 years of watching football I've never seen a kicker drive his foot into the ground and completely miss the ball

Yeah I'm thinking an excavator would have been a better career path. 😁
