Man I really hate to hear that Catt, and you're in my prayers. 

 

My sister is a surgeon and actually specializes at the moment in Whipple procedures and other things in the lower abdomen.   I'd be more than happy to ask her any questions you might have.

 

You'll make it through this my friend, just hang tough for the time being and take it one step at a time.   I can't imagine how much of a shock to the system it must have been hearing news like that.

Doing a bypass surgery this morning so I can eat & drink, then build up strength to go to MD Anderson the Whiffle procedure.

Finally on solid foods just not a lot for now it's going to be a long process. Having such careing family & friends is amazing.
