Hi all,

Well, it seems like we are sidelined for the rest of the season. The missus twisted something climbing over our boat trailer tongue ( of all things). It got worse instead of better and a trip to the ER shows preliminary evidence of bone on bone at the hip joint. She has an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon in a couple of weeks. For now using a walker helps, but realistically I don't see any fishing for us until next year. So good luck to all of you. Stay healthy, stay happy, and catch one for us.

Dang it, JB. If you want, scoot up the coast and I'll take you fishing on my pond. You'd have to fish from my canoe.

I really appreciate the offer, and thank you,  it's so good of you to do it, but for now I'll have to take a rain check. We are on the cancelation list to try to get the missus in to see the surgeon sooner, and as such I need to stay close by.

Get it taken care of as quickly as possible. The longer she waits, the worse it will get.  Praying for a quick recovery and the next season will make you both forget what you missed this year.
