What is the most expensive lure you've lost?

Thinking back on some things I've lost while fishing or driving down the lake.

5 Jackhammers in one day (pike).

A $60 Nike hoodie

Some old original Wiggle Warts worth $40-60ish each

A $300ish baitcast combo in high school when I was still on a pizza boy budget

Countless hats

Gancraft Jointed Claw 230. I still know where it is. Just couldn’t get to it in cold water. Tried this summer, but the water level never dropped (like it does EVERY SINGLE YEAR).

Are these worth getting? Wanted one in the 190 size since they came out, but barely hear anyone talk about them, so i assumed they're "nothing special".

Yes they work well... that pike seemed to think they were special.

Just this year.

an A-rig with all the trimmings!  I had Megabass jig heads and some weirdly named paddle tails.

close to $100 if I had to guess.

mixed feelings.  I hate a-rigs.

Oh jeepers.

I've lost a few Vision 110's.

Several Jack Hammers.

A Shower Blows.

A Magdraft.

All this year.

This weekend, I lost a $70 handmade glide.  It was the most expensive lure I ever bought and I only fished with it once...made me sick to my stomach.

I thought the price of a deps250 is ridiculous, but $350 is literally casting a 24 Met DC on the end of your line. Finish looks great, though.

Yup, Anyways I order 10 of them in every color and sink rate, Because I like them a lot and I don’t want to be without one. Usually I have two of every glide, but sometimes I get more than two to make sure I have backup 😄

My favorite spook went sailing into the beyond today, another $20 down the drain.

I lost my fav super spook as well earlier this year. The *&#&*@&^# gull stole it from me, and flew away with it.

I've done this a few times. I'm a slow learner. 🤦‍♂️ Last spring a friend took his son in law out for his first musky fishing trip. S.I.L threw my friends brand new $600 combo in the drink, in 30' of water. Still hasn't replaced it. I think that was his first and last trip.
