Sixteen years ago today 6poundbass came into this world in an unconventional way, an emergency C-section. He was 9 weeks early, weighed 4.5 pounds, and spent 52 days in the hospital.

Fast forward to today and he’s 6’ tall, 160lbs, working full time during the summer, paying for his own truck, and now has his drivers license!

Where does the time go?

I think he's ready for a name change. 10poundbass maybe? 😀

Boy oh boy.

We are all getting old fast.

And now the real fun begins for you.

Stand by for the one word answers.

At 16 we all knew everything.....about nothing.

Hope you all have a fun and safe weekend my friend.

Don't I know it - the grand-kids are now 10, 13, 14 and 16...man I feel old

What am I saying....at 66 I AM old

Days are long, years are short.

It's amazing how much smarter my dad got when I was in my 20's.

No free rides in this house. He’ll thank us later in life. He loves working and making money.

That Ram has a very thirsty 5.7 so he’ll quickly see how fast that money goes. 😂

You want thirsty - my high-school car was a 1973 Plymouth Cuda...muscle car that got 8mpg on a good day. Filling the tank at $1.39 a gallon when I only made $2.75 an hour part-time was a bear...this was during the gas crunch of the mid 70s.

He’s already asking if he can take the boat. 😂

My quick response, “pump the brakes son”

Can't blame him for asking.
