I went with the 893, gonna be a light jig setup. Can't wait to test it out this weekend, I love the feel of the mgl and it is unbelievably light compared to my curado i's.

Yea your gonna love that 893C. I have the Metaniums and Aldebarans and I always tell people to pick up my NRX 852C w the Aldebaran on it, it's crazy light.

Wait until ICAST this yr when Loomis brings out this rod that's gonna top the NRX in weight and sensitivity. Woops did I just say that? K gotta go.

I have my aldebaran on a mb rattle viper for small rigs and jerkbaits and I'm in love with it, this is my first nrx so I will deffinatly have more in the future. 

Well here's my first nrx combo, I'm beyond excited. It is ridiculously light for a 7'5 jigging combo. The 893 is gonna balance pretty good with the met when it gets line on it as well. 

And thy quiver shall be ever full.

 

I matched SS SV with the 703C

No reel for the 745 yet.

I did get the new Fury 664C.  

734 and 735 round them out.

Metanium on a NRX is as good as it gets.  That setup will ruin you...almost anything else you pick up is going to feel like slop.

That was the first thing that crossed my mind! A white Curado!    I'm not bashing though, it looks nice.

Finally got my baby back! They replaced the reel and sent back my old spool too. Have 2 now!
