I did that a couple years ago.  I'm at 2 Calcutta Conquests, 4 small Ambassadeurs, and 3 Millionaires.

 

I will buy my first round reel this year at some point.  I'm a moving bait/crankbait junky, so seems I should own a couple.

Avocado oil is great on spool bearings to prevent smoking on hard fast bomb casts.

Calcutta Conquest SE should work well for you, or a 100 if you need the line capacity.

Bit of a project reel. Has a sv103 spool with rays inductor. It's a absolute pleasure on the water.

I didn't take any in the process, but I'll get some of all the parts and finished swap after work tonight. 

 

I stumbled across a SV103 on ebay listed as "used, with a rough spot when reeling". I bought it thinking it would need new bearings and possibly gears. The thing looked like it had been fished hard for years with regular spray downs in WD40. It was gunky everywhere that wasn't easily wiped off. The drag was so tight I almost needed tools to get it loose. When finally freed up the "rough spot" went away. After a full tear down and cleaning (grease on gears was nearly solid) it is flawless mechanically, however the inductor ramp on the spool was broken. I already had the rays kit on hand to try on a SS SV spool, so the kit went on the SV103 spool and the SS spool went to the SV103. 

 

I'm very pleased with how it all turned out.

I didn't try it, but it seems like the right tool to make the process less painful. They also include a SV Boost inductor with springs and parts, but I don't recommend it - the plastic material on that inductor is inferior to Ray's Studio one, which makes the inductor stuck in the extended position sometimes.
 

@newapti5 - that's pretty trick...  

I like Jun Sonada's description that replacing a Boost spring or shim washer needs 5 small hands.

It's pretty easy on the SV spools with their soft springs.  A pair of tweezers is all you need. 

I have had my eye on that kit, but don't swap inductors enough to justify it. 

 

Rays ramp on left, broken stock ramp on right (feet sheared off). The Rays ramp is thinner than stock, time will tell how it holds up.

I changed 4 of my SV spools' inductors to Ray's several years ago. So far so good. After normal use, all hold up pretty well.

In production, they used the same 2.1-mm pilot drill for the cover plate taps to add two drain holes in the frame.  So I tapped one with M2.5

Bolt Depot piecemeal order arrived yesterday - final rigging on my hook keeper.  Low-profile joint, with 1-mm M2.5 nylon washer against frame, G-Nius BHK Type R keeper, external lock washer, and high-torque button socket head.  

M2.5 is pretty standard on all B/C cover screws, and all my reels have a G-Nius

   

The thing about the CV-Z, unlike all these reels, there are no exposed screws anywhere, so had to get creative to be able to add this part.  

  

TackleWarehouse sells the hook keeper, though a few in current stock.

What kind of panfish are you after🤔 I mean hey to each his own but I’m thinking I’m overkill with a light powered rod and a 1000 sized reel with 6lb monofilament 😆

I have a not-very-old reel on a new rod - together it's a SeaBeast finesse combo, and gets its first use in 9 days.  @Eric 26 told me he liked my photos.  

Evergreen calls this 9'1" finesse rod - The Sweep Master - 1/32 to 5/8 oz.  

The reel is my C3000MHG Twin Power wearing a shallower Vanquish C3000S spool for PE#0.6

Planning to fish this longer rod on 4' dropper rig, letting me fish my Yamaga Blanks 8'3" TZ Nano/ Vanquish C2000S combo where it shines - tandem 2" swim shad.  

While I always prefer using baitcaster with anything but these complex rigs, and I always say spinning tackle are utensils, my two most expensive (contemporary) rods are both spinners.

LOL! just messing around dude! It's basically for anytime I don't feel like using bait casters, I was a long-time spinning setup guy specially in my younger days, brings back memories but with a nicer setup.
