Best Bass Fishing State?
Well said fishchris. Both norcal and socal have a good rep for big fish. But you can't always expect to catch a hog.

Which BPS Citica Combo?
I got the 7 MH Citica 200 for my first BC. I have big hands, but I still prefer a smaller, lighter reel. I'd go with the 100 and the 7 MH. But go to a tackle store and take a feel of both of them, because all and all it's a personal preference

Trophy Trout trip with Brannus04 (long)
No no buddy, you got it all wrong. The moral of the story: When trophy trout fishing with 4biz, be sure to bring all bass gear. As I was getting all of my gear ready the night before, I knew we would be strapped for space and weight on the boat, so I decided to keep 50% of my bass gear at home. All plastics, drop shots, cranks, jigs, small swimbaits, spinning rod and reel, etc. I didn't think we would need it, but sure enough, I needed all of it. I'll be sure to bring my trout stuff next time we go on a bass fishing marathon, cause you never know. All and all it was a good trip. Once again, 4biz managed to save what could have been a lame trip. All the smallie's were chunky monkeys, they all looked very healthy. Oh yea buddy, i told you it was your stupid idea. for realsy

- New Reel
Just making sure my friend- New BC to go with my avid? Suggestions?
I've heard great things about the revo's. I went with a Curado 100. $130 ish new on ebay. With a budget of 170, you have some good choices. Good Luck- your wife , girlfreind or daughter
I gotta say man, I enjoy giving you sh**, you can give it and take it. HAHAHAHA. Way to keep the women happy buddy.- New Reel
I'll start off by saying sorry admins if this is in the wrong spot. So this is the story of how I scored a new (used) reel. 3 weeks ago I went fishing with 2 other buddies of mine at a little local pond. One of my buddies hadn't been fishing in years. He went out and bought a quantam baitcaster to use the day before we went (This was his first baitcast). We got to the pond and started fishing, he was having all types of problems with rat nests and the usual beginner problems. I tried helping him, but he was stubborn and wouldn't listen to my tips. Finally after 1 1/2 hours he started cussing and I jokingly told him he might as well throw it in the water. 30 seconds later I hear I curploosh... he actually listened to me and tossed it into the lake. Well 10 days later, I went back to this lake and they had dropped it 15 feet. So while I was waypointing the shore, I went to where he had thrown it and I found it ontop of a rock under 2 feet of water. So I snagged it with a lipless crank. I didn't think it would be any good after sitting in water for awhile, so I took apart and cleaned my first baitcaster, and it seems to be working alright for the circumstances. So today I went fishing with these two friends again, not really thinking that I had his reel. Well after awhile fishing, he mad a comment about the reel. He asked me why I would buy that reel after he had so many problems with his. That's when it clicked... I laughed and told him a friend gave it to me. Just thought I'd share my story. Thought it was kinda funny.- hi from a new guy
Welcome man, I'm sure you'll learn more than 1 or 2 tricks. Nice pics.- Bass Compairison
Personally, here in cali, I would consider a hawg a teener. Not that I have caught any, but there are some pigs here. A really nice fish, 8-12. JMPO- Men and their toyz

Healthy looking fish. Nice one- Stainless Steel vs. Tungsten
Once again I gotta agree with 4 biz. I use tungsten when going through mats. I went to the tackle shop today to get some more drop shot weights. I decided that since I had a gift card, I would indulge on some tungsten. After looking at the price, 4.19 for 3 weights, I decided that at the rate I loose drop shot weights, I might as well start smoking cause it would be cheaper. So I think for certain techniques, tungsten is the way to go.- how many?
My best numbers day I took some buddies to a dink hole, I stuck about 75 in 4 hours. After that I just got blisters from hooking so many fish. I like going to this hole when I have to many plastics that I need to get rid of.- your wife , girlfreind or daughter
Mattlures - You must remember, 4 biz is a smart kid... he's already one step ahead of you.- your wife , girlfreind or daughter
6'8" !!!! My God man, big ol' feller ain't ya? Now I know the reason for a 8'6" swimbait rod. I would hate to be on the receiving end of a hookset from you. Don't be fooled!!! He's kind of a wuss. And it's dink slayer to you 4biz!!- Handheld GPS Help
Thanks man... That was going to be my next question. What about cards for road navigation... should I go with Navionic products as well?- Shimano Calcutta
Great analogy Raul!!!- Low-Pro vs. Round
I use the LP's for basically everything, I just like how they feel in your hand and the lightness in them. I do like the rounds because they are more sturdy and i'm not afraid to drop them. They have much more line capacity. I use a Cardiff 400 on my SB rod.- split thread- How to claim boat fuel on Taxes
It's new to me too. Here in cali, i think it might be around the same. It's sounds like a lot of work, but it seems like this pays off for you guys. Might have to look into next year.- Gas used this year?
About 15 gallons. 25hp 2 stroke. - New Reel
