  1. It's got a pretty big head on it, i'd say around 8-10.
  2. +1 I always walk through the middle of the clothing section to get to the fishing section, it's become habit now!!!. PM Sent Matt. Brandon
  3. I"m very new to swimbaits, but the first SB I was throwing was the 316 mighty minnow. Great little bait for the money. it's a soft bait around 4-5 inches long.
  4. That's what i thought, thanks Glenn
  5. So I thought that I read something awhile back that USACproshop.net gave BR members a discount maybe when a member bought something from them, BR got some $. Am I just going crazy? any help would be awesome, because I want a bait and deciding where to give my money to at the moment. Thanks.
  6. Is she blonde? If not, i'd be sure to carry backup diamond earrngs!!! Let us know how it goes.
  7. With so many quality fish here in cali, I got to agree. Except maybe bring the "nice quality fish" mark down to around 5 1/2 so my P.B. can count as a nice quality fish.
  8. 1969 16FT Chrysler - Moley (like guacamole without the guaca) named because the boat is a guacamole green. It was fourbizzles old boat, he named it. The kids a genious!
  9. +1. I only use jigs with brush guards if I need them, otherwise i'll take them off or get some without them
  10. I go out with fourbizz once or twice a month and needless to say 99% of the time I get my butt kicked, but in that butt kicking, I learn a lot of techniques and tips. In turn when I take my other friends fishing (who aren't as skilled as I am), I usually take those tips and tricks and lay the butt kicking on them. When I go with them I find myself lending a helping hand more than I fish though. So to your question, yes, I am lucky enough to have a talented partner
  11. Ii gotta agree with his plan A. Match the money you put into your boating. Keep looking around for that perfect little 14 ft Jon. That is a perfect starter boat. I have a 16 ft fiberglass with all the goodies, but I still would love a little 12-14 ft jon. I'm 21 and just got my degree and I must say you need to get your priorities straight, get your education, while maintaining your fishing hobby. Be sure you mooch off of your parents as much as possible.
  12. Don't forget to ask for the day off of work!!
  13. Some people may call me whupped but take her out to dinner and tell her then, that way she may at least not make you sleep on the couch. Good Luck.
  14. My girlfriends brother lives down there and got evaced a couple days ago at 4 in the morning. He only had 15 minutes to gather his crap. Luckily the flames just missed his house. He just moved down there because of a medical job where he is making some 80+ grand a year.
  15. +1 to this. After coming home from the tackle shop and getting some sweet deals, I tried telling my girlfriend about the steals that I got, and she used my own trick against me. All guys know this trick, it's the "pretend to pay attention, nod your head, say uh huh, while still watching tv trying not to be to inconsiderate to you" trick. So I now don't bother anymore.
  16. Don't have many lake pics, but this is a fun pond. I've only been there a couple times because it is such a horrible, small, twisted, narrow road getting into this small mountain community, but is well worth it.
  17. Thanks for the post. When I first started bass fishing, I got very confused by all the color choices out there, but with posts like this, it helps people sort out the mess a little bit.
  18. Gotta agree with this. I love watching his shows
  19. Well I can't really compete with any of you, but here goes mine. Baitcast: Citica with 7' MH BPS Extreme Curado 100DSV with Powell 703CB Spinning: Abu POS with a $5 6'6 no-name Quantuam POS with a 6'6 Quantuam And then a soon to come: Cardiff 300 with a Okuama SW rod
  20. Thanks for the info you guys, i'll go give them a try!!
  21. So i moved down into the city and don't have access to ponds like I used to when I lived in the sticks. I have folsom lake within 15 minutes, but i don't always feel like taking the boat out. I hear a lot of people fishing at golf course ponds and I have about 6 golf courses all within a 10 mile radius, so my question is to those who fish at them. Do you just go up and fish them without talking to anybody, or do you go talk to an employee? Do they charge you anything, like a charge to play the back 9 or something. Do you only fish public courses?? Thanks.
  22. Wal-mart is the way to go. Keep the receipt and in a little less than a year, take them back and tell them it doesn't hold a charge anymore and they give you a new one. Yes, it fits in a 27 series box.
  23. Gotta have the two rod stamp. I use it more for trolling for trout, macs, etc. Very seldom for bass. Yout got jipped. $5?!?! They gave me mine for free.
  24. Went up there on a salmon/halibut trip on the Kenai Penisuala. Fished for kings on the Kenai, fished for halibut in the cook inlet and then fished for reds on many of the peniisuala's smaller rivers.
