  1. Day after Thanksgiving, as soon as I get out of UPS I'm heading up to the one in Foxboro with my little brother . He has $75 in gift cards and as soon as he saw the pro qualifier combo he wanted it. So now I have to take him, thanks BPS, instead of sleeping I know have to go shopping on Black Friday.
  2. My greatest day with numbers was two years ago on Stafford Pond with a buddy of mine. We have 68 fish between the two of us in 7 hours. 49 were keepers, had 27 between 2-4 pounds, and the big one went just under five. Also had a couple of two pound smallies mixed in. Greatest day weight wise was this past June. Had 14 fish between 4-6 pounds in three hours. And a bunch of other little guys between 2-4, lol. Two of them over 6. Best part was that it is a by far the most pressured lake in the state, Johnsons Pond. And every fish came off a hundred yard stretch that contained 6 docks with a coontail line off the end of the docks in 8 feet of water.
  3. Nice fish, beautiful smallie. Little bit of a change from Lake Hamilton.
  4. Posted on: Today at 12:31pm DID LBH GET THE VIDEO I cant believe you went there, lmao.
  5. Before you set the hook are you reeling down until you feel the fish and your line is tight, or setting the hook with slack in the line?
  6. The only complaints I have about the spinning carrot stick I have is I wish the handle was a little bigger and how you have to buy a sol or paint a reel to match the rod, lol. The guides are pac bay's with titanium inserts which I really dont know much about because I have really only used rods with fuji guides. But I do know after a year of use I create grooves in the guides from setting the hook with the braid. But with the titanium wont it be a little harder for the braid to create grooves? The only way I can describe the rod is that is lighter than any rod I have ever felt, and with the sensitivity of a loomis. Which is a pretty sweet deal for only $150. And as for the people giving them bad reviews, you cant make everyone happy .
  7. Ahhh yes christened and blessed, dont leave marks on your handle like I did though ;D.
  8. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY! Even when I want to fish tourney on bigger bodies of water I will buy a glass and keep my tin. For RI you just cant beat it. If you hit a rock or something you wont loose sleep over it like some people with glass (stratosdad). Think about this too, how many lakes can you start an engine over 10 horse in? Watermans, Watchaug, Wordens, Johnsons, and Tiogue. Whats the poitn inhaving a boat that does 70 if you can only use it in 5 lakes? In any of the real windy lakes like Wordens and Watchaug where you can get blown away, just buy a drift sock, they are worth every penny.
  9. Exactly LBH, a monster alright. I had to put him on a lesh today when we made the pilgrimage up to the new Bass Pro Shops. Some kid took the last 1/8 Terminator Finesse jig in black and blue and he started foaming at the mouth. lol

Ya the Gammy EWG's are good for them, but if you are going to be fishing some nasty stuff with braid go to the gammy superline hooks.

  12. Its all about the dollar, as it what stated before, family, reliegion, and tradition have taken a back seat to a little green piece of paper that just so happens to make the world go round. :'(

If that isnt a real pic, someone is really good with photoshop.
  15. The only decorations I see are those big blow-up turkeys's that are 6 feet tall. I just want to go around with a BB gun and take them all out.

    Death?
  17. My personal favorite was the kid killing the chicken for soup. Pretty messed up stuff, I think some of those kids will be either messed up for life or become vegetarians.
  18. Revo, hands down. They are great and like Raul said think about what you do when you are fishing a worm or jig. More about working the bait then reeling it in.
  19. Also, dont do what I did. If you are going to to do it, do it now and figure out what you are going to do instead of getting buried in debt from college loans. New studies show that almost 70% of college freshman switch majors, I dont know many people that havent so that number is probably much bigger than it was a few years back. Realize too, this s a double edged sword. Those that take the year off may have difficulty going back so some do drop-out after that year off and dont finish. Just remember, if dont take that year off now, you dont have another shot at it. Because after college you will have some big bills to pay.
  20. e21fishing.com but they are only shipping the 6'7" spinning model and one casting model. But you can order the others. There is an ebay store Matt 5.0 and I bought ours from that doesnt charge for shipping so they are $30 cheaper than at e21. You wont regret buying one.
  21. Best thing I ever did. Taking this semester off was great just lived on the water since last May. I've been able to do 45-60 hours a week on the water for the past 5 months or so. Its tough you are given between the last couple months of senior year and the start of school in September to figure out what you want to do with the rest of your life. That isnt exactly an easy thing to figure out. I'm just dreading getting back into the swing of school in 8 weeks. Going to be tough. But good luck.
  22. Thanks for the advice. Really appreciate it. Ya I do have a lot of confidence in my areas and they are usually hott in late June when most of those fish are post spawn. I think the same way too, I liek being up front on the trolling motor and I would rather know whether I can hack it or not and not have to think about the whole what if? deal.

Pretty much everything is covered, thats what I like. The only other board I go on is nesportsman.com under the Bass Tournament link to see what tourney's are going on and where so I can plan my weekend.
