  1. I got it tonight for my PC. Man, it's hardcore. The developers didn't pull any punches with the gore. Pretty good, so far.
  2. Your pics are always worth looking at! Nice job.

This has got to be one of the better BR lines ever. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  4. Welcome to BPS's "Bait and Switch Sale." Happens every year.
  5. I just love it when I type a lengthy reply, proof read it, hit post, then the forum craps out and my post is lost. > Here's the short answer. The "real" PQ rods should be nice. They're $140 rods. They should say "70 Million Modulus" on them, the blank should be marbled, and the guides should be Fuji Alconite. They should look like this... ...'07 rods had forends. BPS has a nasty habit of taking a cheap combo and labeling it PQ for the holidays. Someone buys it thinking they are getting the real PQ when really they just bought a cheap rod labled PQ. BTW, what does "Lmt" mean? "Limited?" If so, real PQs aren't "Limited." I think that's a clue that it's lower end.
  6. Found this on MSNBC. 16 minutes of newly discovered footage of post D-Day France, and lots of gun-camera footage from US fighters shooting up German airfields and various German fighters. To me, fighter-plane gun camera footage is the most fascinating actual-combat footage there is. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27650485#27650485
  7. Good stuff on the forum tonight!!! ;D
  8. I saw that, too!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

    Looks great.
  10. Not me, I love them. I usually pick up a few every year in the tidal creeks while LMB fishing. Nothing like a big schoolie on a medium action rod and Bomber Model A.
  11. Nothing like some striper fillets in fall.
  12. HBO

Micro replied to Tin's topic in Everything Else
HBO went down the crapper when Sopranos ended, and they cancelled Deadwood and Rome. When they did that, I cancelled HBO.

Reminds me of the Megabass Vision.
  14. I agree, if you don't like it, don't buy it. But try understand its purpose. It isn't designed for the hardcore fisherman. It's designed for the younger fisherman, perhaps to hold their interest in fishing over a long cold winter when video games may otherwise dominate. That thing is like the Rocket Fisherman, and all the other wierd little things that you and I don't appeal to. But a kid you has an interest in fishing may, and it may solidify that interest. Anything that gets a kid into fishing and away from video games has got to be a good thing.
  15. Most of them, actually. My reel "collection" is very modest.
  16. No I haven't, but I plan getting a few and trying them.
  17. If you are looking for a great performing round reel, *** is selling the EXT Pro for just under $100. That's an exceptional deal. MSRP is around $180. I have a couple of them. They handle light baits very well, and can outdistance my Revos. They have the fantastic carbon-matrix drag system. They are meticulously made. Sort of a "Morrum for the masses." http://www.***.com/descpageRLCABUGAR-AGEXP.html
  18. I play CoD on my PC. I loved the PC line - CoD, United Offensive, and CoD2. World at War is going to be insane. The videos are incredible. I just upgraded my PC, so I hope I have the horsepower to play it on max settings.
  19. I'd buy a higher end Quantum in a heartbeat. The new Tour Edition PT baitcaster and the Tour Edition PTi-B spinning reel are awesome looking and the smoothest reels I think I've ever turned. The drag on the TE PT Bbaitcaster is right up there with the Revo.
  20. Just get yourself some of these. Sebile Proppler Buzz...

Tons of really good choices. I carry a Glock 36 when I carry. Tried and true .45 ACP in a compact, single stack package.
  22. My personal opinion is that the 4/0 EWG is too small. I know some peole use it and are successful, but I think a bigger hook would help with hook-up ratios.
  23. The type and size of hook, as well as how you are rigging it would be helpful. For me, the setup with the best hookups is a 5/0 Matzuo extra long worm hook. I rig it with the point going up around the crotch (between the legs) and skinning the tip in the back. I have rigged mine several ways. Here is a pci of some of the ways I've tried, all being successful in keeping the frog upright and giving good hookups. The trick to keeping the frog upright is keeeling the bait by keeping the weight well beneath it. The first rig is a Gamakatsu 5/0 EWG. The second is a Horny Toad hook with a spiral lock. The third of the Matzuo rig described above. The forth is a little more unorthodox. It's an Eagle Claw weedless hook (5/0 I think). It actually keels the bait very well and hookups are very good. It's not all that great over lilypads, but does great in more open water.
  24. Bagley Balsa B1 was somewhat productive for me this year.
