  1. HaHa he got you to look. Then i saw your avatar.
  2. Topwater. bladed jig / spinnerbait. crankbait 2' - 20'. wacky - rig. dropshot. 3 other set - ups still in the box, but these 5 always on deck.
  3. I think a blind-folded test is in order here.
  4. I agree with bb86 on the chug bug. It replaced my pop-r years ago. Last year i got a duckett (whatever) kinda like a chug bug, but with a smaller cupped face. So, mostly a walker, but can finesse pop also. Remember that a smaller bait is not easier for the fish to capture. And don't limit the time of day or year, or any depth <15' for any surface lure. It is always an "edge" the bass can coral to. Throw it, maybe they'll show themselves.
  5. I think the sputterfuss and hawaiian wiggler are 2 different lures. Both Arbogast though.
  6. I am the only "serious" bass fisher in my group of friends / relatives. In my late teens to mid 20's i wanted to fish with a bud. After that, i would fish alone around 75 percent of the time, for the same reasons that everyone else has stated already. I'll be 64 next month, and the last few years i usually have a bud or my wife with me on the boat. I need a witness!? My next door neighbor has a grandson about 12yo, that said likes to fish, so i showed him some of my lures and the next time he came over to pop pop's , he brought his backpack/tacklebox. That little shxx had a couple of hard baits that i want. Anyways, his parents are divorced, and i'm gonna ask his mom if he could go out fishing with me sometime this summer. I know he would enjoy it. And i would too...
  7. Nice one James, length would help us get in the ballpark, but i'd say 4.5#. Welcome to BR and keep catchenem! (i hope it was caught on a topwater)

Cool song, didn't know most of the words back in the day, and she does have it all. I can hear the flw weigh - in announcer (forgot his name) say WOW!
  9. grass stain maker
  10. My boat's rod box only fits rods up to 7'. I have a couple of telescoping 7' 6" flipping/ pitching rods.
  11. The downside to using glue is when they bite the tail off. Yippie! Get the wrecked one off and redo.
  12. Evidently he has been busy all year, his last post was 5 1/2 months ago. Not that i care. I am sure alot of people wished i went away for that long (or longer).
  13. That's funny right there...
  14. r.i.p. boiling water. You will be mist.
  15. That blows. Hopefully those will be your only problems for the next 15 years. Enjoy!
  16. Do they even name their baits? Or am i thinking Renegade?
  17. This will be me in 2024, i can't wait.
  18. Find out who lost it and maybe go fishing with him (or her!) Fishing buds are the best...i have forgot a lot of things, but i always remember who i've fished with. Good times.
  19. We use to wipe down our h/o (cars) track with wd. Cleans good, protects the rails, and didn't ruin traction which surprised me. Back in the day Preperation H was also said to be used as an attractant. I never tested it myself.
  20. Toxic..you're my d/s brother. ? Although we prob. rig a little different.
  21. Why does the ballpark get so hot after the game? all the fans left. If arkansas, could tennesee? idaho, alaska! Put an egg in your shoe and beat it. Have you heard about the farmer who was outstanding in his field? Bad spellers of the world UNTIE!
  22. Yep, Mike is the king. I have fished with him and his baits. I am the lucky one.
