If you fish from a boat, go to Oakland Co., there are about 20 lakes from which to chose, half without launch fees. Get your contour lake maps off dnr website, and pick a couple of lakes that suit your style of fishing.

I have yet to see a bass on a bed this year. My "keeper" count is way down so far this year for bass, although the number of fish caught isn't too far off from previous years. I can't blame it on anything but myself, but i can't figure it out, and it's bugging me a little. I'm working on it.....

I'm still stumped, Raul. I know of "twister tail", "paddle or boot tail","spade tail", but still no "ball tail". Who makes them and do you have a picture? The only ball tail i can think of is a stickbait with balls on both ends. Is it me? Am i the only one wondering what this is?

Twice in the past 5 yrs. or so, i lost a crankbait on a long cast (from the boat) IN THE DAYTIME, and couldn't find them. You'd think that you could find it when you get the boat close to where you THINK it was, but.....
