  1. LooksLikeSinbad: dang, I was scrolling down reading about those great looking craw baits and then I though someone had actually posted a MIRROR on this thread, but then I realized I'm not QUITE that grey....YET:o)

Love that Studebaker Champion in the too!! Always wanted to get me a coupe and put a blown 392 Hemi in it:o)
  3. I've been using my new Pflueger Supreme and President the last two outings and couldn't be happier. Both cast great and are buttery smooth on the retrieve! IMO:o)
  4. Lakes aren't frozen around here and I'm committed to use SENKOS. Had several nice strikes on Saturday but didn't hook up with anything (my fault, the fish were trying:o) Fished T-rig and Wacky weightless and I think that'll pay off soon.
  5. GO DODGE!!! 'Bout time, I doth thinketh. The last few laps were some great racing. Up until then I thought Kyle Bush was gonna run away with the whole thing. Nice to see that Kurt helped his team buy pushing Newman ahead of Stewart and his brother. Pensky can now go for the BIG TWO.
  6. DITTO to what bass_fin@tic said: Becks Grolsch Guinness Warsteiner St Pauli Girl Yuengling Heinekin Fosters I'll DRINK to that.....hic:o) My fav of that list is Guinness Extra Stout. Newcastle is also pretty good when I can find it on sale somewhere.

A hearty WELCOME to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net. IMO:o)
  8. Theme from "JAWS" anyone??? Ahgagagagagaga!!!
  9. CONGRATULATIONS!! That's a beautiful son you have!! Sure is going to make remembering his birthday easy on ya. God surely BLESSED you and your entire family!!

IF my two sons didn't want all my stuff, and since neither of them are much into fishing, I'd probably have my wife split it up between my 3 brothers in Illinois who are all avid fisherman and hunters. I kinda liked that "Viking Funeral" idea:o)
  11. Popeye replied to Catt's topic in Everything Else
All you guys stay SAFE back there!! Really wierd and unseansonable weather happening all across the country. Tornadoes in February all over the place. Sure hope you are all OK!!!
  12. WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME, CapRon!!!!! I'm gonna shower and get on the road! See ya's in a couple hours. Yippie!!!
  13. Lots of PRACTICE and some lessons even if they're from a friend who already knows how to play. I've been a DRUMMER since I was 15 so I can usually drown out any mistakes a guitar player makes with a nice long fill or roll on the snare:o) Glad to see that you're getting into music!! It's a VERY satisfying, relaxing and rewarding hobby. Now you have at least TWO of those:o)
  14. Welcome and I must say that the BR forum is THE PLACE to be if ya want to learn about bassin' and fishin' in general. Gadzillions of great members who all possess excellent knowledge and expertise on any type fishin' you might want to do. IMO:o) Again, WELCOME!!
  15. Godzilla on the rocks:o)
  16. Mikey W gets #3:o) (although I'd love to see Mark Martin finally win the 500, especially after that heart-breaking loss at the tape)
  17. "Curse of the Baitmonkey" strikes again:o) Hey, that'd be a great title for a fishing horror/comedy movie, I doth thinketh. Maybe I'd better get busy on a screenplay!!
  18. You reach for and lite up a cigarette or cigar and it ends up being a SENKO:o)
  19. Like RW said, everything works in the Spring. However, since I have been reading/researching MANY posts on the effectiveness of the "magical" Senko, I have loaded up on them the last week and intend to give 'em a real workout tomorrow. I have 6 different color combos in 5" and 6". Of course I'm going to try both wacky and T-rig. Don't think I'll throw much else. Seems you can't go wrong with them.
  20. These shouldn't be too risque here: The math teacher saw that little Johnny wasn't paying attention in class. She called on him and said, 'Johnny! What are 2 and 4 and 28 and 44?' Little Johnny quickly replied, 'NBC, FOX, ESPN and the Cartoon Network!' Little Johnny's kindergarten class was on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures tacked to a bulletin board of the 10 most wanted criminals. One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person. 'Yes,' said the policeman. 'The detectives want very badly to capture him.' Little Johnny asked, 'Why didn't you keep him when you took his picture ?' Little Johnny attended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs and rump, and chest. After a few minutes, Johnny asked, 'Dad, why are you doing that?' His father replied, 'Because when I'm buying horses, I have to make sure that they are healthy and in good shape before I buy. Johnny, looking worried, said, 'Dad, I think the UPS guy wants to buy Mom'. Ahgagagaga!!!!
  21. Yep, and thanks Ronnie for the info. I gotta get me a few of those flyrod sized HPs:o)
  22. SCRIPTED "Reality Shows"?? Come on now. They're ALMOST all a JOKE. I DO like "Dancing With the Stars". Those contestants HAVE to perform the dances they learned LIVE, even though they are choreographed by their professional partner, THEY still must learn the steps and perform the dances. One of, if not THE, best "reality shows" on television. IMO:o)
  23. I's gotta 'ave me spinach along on every trip. I's don'ts know why. Ahgagagagaga!!
  24. Might NOT be such a good idea on an INFLATABLE. Dogs can really get restless and figity if they've never been on something like that before, especially the first time out. 2 adults AND a dog on an 11 foot boat? I wouldn't risk it! IMO:o)
  25. HEY, Mikey!!!
