  1. Being guides, my partner and I get hit with many a wind knot. Some can just be pulled out (customers think you're a magician) some are certainly cut and move on types of knots. He figured out (don't ask me how) developed a technique that believe it or not, works more often then you'd think. Put the knot in your teeth and start chewing the line. Once they get nice and wet, the fibers will flatten out and you can untie the knot.
  2. Check your humidity settings. If I make sure I am full of distilled water when I go to bed, I have never once run dry.
  3. I owned a Penn two speed made for bass fishing in the early 90s. Not good
  4. I was going to answer "no where near enough rods"
  5. I always thought I breathed through my mouth a lot too. After a year on the CPAP, I am too asleep to tell. I sleep like a rock for the first four to six hours (maybe the vodka helps) up until my nightly leak. After that, a little less restful and I am very aware of the mask.
  6. I've been tempted to try the nose only mask. I agree with the congestion issue. I have a Respironics Dream Station.
  7. My mom picked mine in 1965. How did she know I'd need that exact name for a bass fishing forum...?

  9. 10 always a classic. Kids, cover your eyes. The music though, is a killer groove.
  10. I have never heard of a temp that low with the flu. A fever is usually associated with a high temperature.
  11. Oh if it were only that simple...
  12. All I would have to offer is actual scalp.

Temp 10 degrees, feels like -1.
  14. Christmas Day, The Greatest Showman. Last night, The Kite Runner. (good but, didn't do justice to the book)
  15. Same tackle. As long as you are fishing open water, bass tackle will handle the task. Here on the Chesapeake Bay, 6'6" M-MH spinning or baitcasting tackle are standard equipment among LTJ fisherman. Drag and skill.
  16. That post Tom speaks of is one of the most valuable lessons in graphite rods I've ever read. I would go St. Croix Avid and never look back.
  17. Perfect
  18. I stumbled across this genius. Take an hour and be awed.
  19. My guide partner runs Cabo PT 40s on 7' rods with toads. Easy use and so far, good quality.
  20. When it's low 60's, my customers are bundled up and freezing running at 30MPH. At 85MPH, They'd need a protective, insulated, heated, enclosed compartment.
  21. Kent sent a link to walmart.com, they have it too. https://www.walmart.com/ip/KastKing-Mega8-Super-Performance-8-Strand-Braid-Fishing-Line-300Yds-275M/172077735
  22. I've been using the Mega 8 and like it.
