There are no hard & Fast rules here. On some spot's, one way may be better than the other. The prevailing wind & or current may dictate you choice. I will say that if the water gets pressured, and most anglers position a certain way because it's "Convenient". I will almost always at least try something else. When Fishing structure & or deep cover - it's often all about your Presentation Angle. A-Jay

Look into getting a "Jaw Spreader". It's a fairly common & inexpensive tool used to hold a toothy critters face open for safer hook extraction. If you work over the side of your boat, tie the tools (spreader & long nose pliers) off to your vessel or when the fish shakes it's head (and it will) you'll lose them into the deep. Good Luck A-Jay

Wearing that shirt may have more to do with the weather / conditions (warmer) that the Better Fish Feed in than any Good Karma it might possess. But I'd keep wearing it too. A-Jay
