  1. The QB is not on defense. The Colts simply quit, plain and simple. The players are embarrassing themselves week after week. Miami is also winless but at least they are trying to remain competitive. The Colts fans deserve better but by now should be wearing brown paper bags. Don't know his contract status but I would not be surprised to see Manning ask for a trade rather than to get back on the field with this "team". btw - didn't New England go like 11-5 the season Tom Brady was out ? 2. First off, we are both sorry for your families loss and hope your Mom is on the mend soon. But Lund, you could not have picked a worse week to plan a trip up here. Those few days were just darn right NASTY ! I don't think I even went outside until that stuff let up. My dogs didn't even want to go out in that mess. That entire week was a wash out for us. Glad you caught a few fish and more importantly, got home safe. So, a new boat you say ? That sounds really nice. Looks like you'll just have to haul that bad boy to the next BR get together. And perhaps you could use an old navigator from up north on that trip as well ~ hint, hint. A-Jay
  3. Thanks for the advice and input guys. OK- so I opted for the shallower lake. Wind was blowing a bit and the water temps were right at 50'. Smb were on the feed, swimbaits specifically. A-Jay
  4. OK - I'm heading out to wet a line - so just as the subject line proposes: Here's some supplemental information. I'm in northern MI. Current weather is partial sun and clouds warm with air temps in the low 50's. Water temps range from mid to low 50's as well. Both bodies of water are very clear and home to both smb and lmb. The deeper lake has trout in it and is almost 100 ft deep. The shallower body of water has a max depth of 30 ft. Both produce well at times. I've taken by PB lmb in the deeper lake and my PB smb in the shallower one; seems back wards doesn't it ? Fish in the deeper lake are suspended at least half the time which makes them really hard to get at, at least for me. The shallower lake has a bit more shoreline cover. So which one do you go with and why ? A-Jay

Wow ! - where have I been that I have never heard of JJ Grey ! I love this - Thanks for posting it ! A-Jay
  6. Once again - you and I would get along just fine ~ I've had some good ol' southern boys call me "Cuz". Not real sure on the spelling there, however I'm fairly certain we went not related. A-Jay
  7. Congratulations ~ ! That's a fantastic photo & a Great Story, one that I enjoyed reading, thanks. Nice job on keeping your head with such a Monster Bass on, and in a tournament no less. A-Jay
  8. I can't tell - either way nice fish Dwight. I did notice that there were No White Caps, so that's a good thing too. A-Jay
  9. I have not ventured into the 6" range for bass yet, but the 5" baits have been very good to me. I throw the 6" baits for the long green toothy girls. A-Jay
  10. The word Stout immediately comes to mind. Nice Fish ~ A-Jay
  11. LOL ! That is outstanding ~ A-Jay
  12. As mentioned - half time shows have traditionally been very disappointing. I can't actually remember one that was remotely entertaining. I have enjoyed a few Puppy Bowls though ~ A-Jay http://animal.discovery.com/tv/puppy-bowl/
  13. Nice Eye ! That's Fatty for sure ~ A-Jay
  14. She's a Beauty ! Nice Job ~ A-Jay
  15. A Friday Off AND a Big Fat Pig of a Bass ! Congrats ~ A-Jay
  16. Great Bass ! That video is a keeper for life. Congratulations ~ A-Jay
  17. Holy Smokes Dwight, you are a patient man and seem to be taking all that is stride. The payoff, however, looks pretty good ~ really nice smallies. WTG ~ A-Jay
  18. This is Big News ! Nothing like having a multiple Classic and Angler of the Year winner providing us with timely information. I'm looking forward to it. A-Jay
  19. You Must go through the hard times - that's what makes a Championship that much Sweeter. I'm not convinced that the Lions are here to stay but there making it allot easier to be a fan this season. As a Long time Pats fan, there were seasons of only 1 or 2 wins. They were back a ways, but I remember them quite well. The Pats haven't won it all in a bit but they've been in contention almost every year. I'd like to see the Lions go all the way, but when you haven't been close in a while it's tough to do. A-Jay
  20. Congrats on a memorable outing. Those are two dynamite Brown Bass. Based on your attire, looks like the frost is already on the Pumpkin over in WI. btw - that fish in your Avatar is a SLOB ! A-Jay
  21. Now that's a Nice Handicap ! Congrats A-Jay
  22. Nice - These guys flush a few now and then. Regardless of how many times it happens - I almost poop my pants, everytime ! A-Jay
  23. Thanks - that pike did most of his battling in the water (and in the net) and was pretty tuckered out after a fairly lengthy battle on 6lb line. By photo time he gassed; he did however recover boat-side to swim off and fight another day. A-Jay
  24. LOL - Timing is Everything Dwight. A-Jay
