  4. Yozuri Hybrid is a good choice. If you'd be willing to share, I'd be interested to know why you've chosen to switch from a braid Back to mono/flouro line. What was it that the braid was or was not doing for you ? Also where'd you find the 25lb power pro ? I've only seen 20lb and 30lb. btw, I'm a braid with leader believer for most applications. A-Jay

    That's what I get for buying the Lawn fertilizer yesterday - Woke up this morning to a winter wonderland - I thought I was having a nightmare ! Oh wait - I'm living it - AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH ! ! ! I don't think this is going to speed up Ice Out any . . . . . A-Jay
  12. The winner of a game 2, in the playoffs, wins the series over 70% of the time. B's in 6 ! A-Jay
  13. - Motivation is one thing, but I'm still waiting for ice out. You're the Man Dwight but I'm coming for ya ! A-Jay
  14. Wow ~ Ok Dwight, that settles it - I am coming over there and stalking you. That beauty will definitely be a contender in the State Vs State thread, especially for PA. A-Jay
  15. Gorgeous Smallie Dwight ! I've got 2 Brutal weeks left to endure before our Opener. A-Jay
  16. Yup, without the luxury of being able to see of course. A-Jay
  17. Looks like each BR member gets a quota of negative votes per day. That may prove to be a good idea. A-Jay
  18. Gorgeous Bass Chris - and That fish would be the record on just about Any lake in my area. Congrats A-Jay
  19. I've been using Pentax Optio W20 for several years now in both fresh and salt water environments. It's been excellent for my needs including taking underwater pictures and video - Videoing the catch and release boat-side by putting the camera under water is cool. This model came out in 2006 but is still available. I have no experience with the newer models. Check it out. A-Jay http://www.dpreview.com/news/0608/06080701pentaxw20.asp
  20. Now That's the way to make your first post. Nice Toad ! A-Jay

After seeing the "New Look" I was concerned that all the bells & whistles add would be a distraction. Additionally, I was worried that the members of my generation (child of the 50's) might not be too thrilled with the changes. They might choose to participate here a bit less or even worse, not at all. Some serious knowledge and experience in all things, not just bass fishing, is routinely shared by these valuable members and it would be a great loss and quite a shame to lose them. Time will tell just how this plays out. A-Jay
  22. I really enjoyed that. Mr Hackney appears to be a very pleasant and ground man who truly loves what he does. Thanks Glenn A-Jay

Congrats - Sweet looking bass. I'd trade Bass for Class any day. And I have to say AJ, that is the most up scale Performance Fishing attire ever. (nice name btw). A-Jay
  24. And there ya go ! Nice work guys - I'll get my first shot at it in just over 3 weeks. (Season Opener here) Thanks for keeping me motivated til then . . . . . A-Jay
  25. WTG Chris ! ! ! It sounds like that was one fun day on the water. You've certainly earned it. Your story and photo are great. Those are certainly some honk-in' fish you are tackling with that light gear. It's impressive and sounds like you're got it down. Speaking of your tackle, this came from the link you posted regarding the rod you use - "A high-performance ultra-light rod designed to fish very light line. It makes catching small fish a lot of fun and has enough power to handle larger ones should the opportunity present itself." I'm betting the good folks over at G.Loomis did not envision anyone targeting Monster sturgeon with their panfish rod ! Congrats again A-Jay
