  1. Push 1 this morning. Chest, Shoulders, Triceps and finished with some Core work. All things considered, I'm feeling pretty good. Consistency is like a secret weapon. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  2. I use this Frabil (9510)- Works for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003JSLWLQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Tried the rubber bag - was too heavy to use effectively with one hand. And I am at least average as far as strength goes. Point of interest; I fish from a boat. Please consider a silicone mat to set the net/fish on to remove hooks and take pics. If you're concerned about removing slime, it's the way to go. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LVSB8SL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 #sanddirtrocksleavesgrasscatpoop A-Jay

  6. So it's not just me. The Pro-V Bass IS THE REAL DEAL. A-Jay
  7. Legs 1 this morning. There's never anywhere to hide on Leg Day. Straight up grinder. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  8. I am not a big fan of those weird dudes, but they eat just about everything I don't want in my yard so they get a pass. Still don't like them though. A-Jay

Glad Mrs B is OK. The past 25 years or so, some first hand knowledge of the medical field has proven to be both amazing & scary and everything in between. Our Humanness is a supremely complicated deal and each and everyone can be wildly different. 'Misdiagnosing' is a real part of the practice of medicine. Just comes with it. Again, so happy for you and your family. Stay Healthy & Safe. A-Jay
  10. Life is full of cross roads but we don't always know when or 'see them coming'. Doesn't change the inevitable. Thinking about and deciding what I will do (in advance) when the time comes, has made the decisions a little less of a struggle. Still often a hard pill to swallow but it helps keep me present. Life is the ultimate challenge. A-Jay
  11. Not sure at this point but definitely down grading whatever it is. It's the OG way. A-Jay
  12. Thanks for asking. Short answer, I like doing them and life is short. Supplemental info: Never stopped recording my fishing however recently I've been being semi-selective on what is posted publicly. Future Plans and recommendations: Spent the last 2 months 'scouting' a new to me version of Lake Menderchuck and it's a fairly huge body of water. The YT stalkers will have their work cut for them, but so will I. Best case scenario. Finally, during my 'last season' on the water with the Pro-V Bass, and sadly there will be one, all my cards will be face up. Going out in a blaze of glory. #lakemenderchuck A-Jay
  13. Awesome Name ~ And I heard that place is killer ~ A-Jay
  14. Just got back from the GMC dealer. Verdict is ~ New Truck. Ordered it today. This particular dealer was allotted exactly ONE 2024 AT4 with the 6.2L engine for the remainder of 2023, and it's got my name on it. Bet you could guess the color. I was told that the actually delivery date will depend on the build date which recently has been wildly unpredictable. There's always something. More to Follow. ? A-Jay
  15. Thank you very much for the kind words and your support. I means a lot. And you're right. It's hard. A-Jay
  16. That's funny. Since Mr Van Dam's retirement, I expect to bump into him a few time's in the near future. I'm told he likes to chase the big brown bass too and there's a few decent lakes up this way that fit the bill. But timing is everything. Just won't tell him that I'm selling all his KVD branded rods & reels this winter. A-Jay
  17. I think so ~ A-Jay
  18. Been almost 3 weeks at home now and Lynn is doing really good. We still had a Hematologists appointment leering ahead. Bone marrow status in question. Lynn's had multiple blood tests in advance of this appointment and we'd be finding out the results of them. Well we had that appointment today . . . . . . and we got Good news, No Great News, Almost too good to be true. Seems her body is making it happen and is going about a full repair of the damage that had occurred. There were tears. I'm not sure who was happier, us or the good Doctor, he was sort of giddy himself. I get it though, the man's job description includes passing on some rather dreadful news to folks, just about every day. This whole deal will continue to be monitored closely, and for a while. But we get a reprieve, for now anyway. I'll take it. I've been thankful for a lot of things in my life, but this was a biggie. Stay Healthy & Safe A-Jay
  19. Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ Lagom A-Jay
  20. Bringing this one back ~ Because as hard as it is to believe, it's that time once again. My lease ends in Feb 24, however to ensure I am able to get the new rig, the way I want/need it and in a timely manner, ordering it in the next week or two has worked out. If it shows up late, they extend my lease briefly, and if it arrives a little early, the dealer just parks it. Good thing about this time around is that the body style on the 2024 hasn't changed from my 2021. So it's simply a matter of moving the CX Revo A.R.E. Cap (which I love btw) from the old rig to the new one. I am planning on getting pretty much exactly what I have, (option & accessory wise) just with a zeroed out odometer, a fresh warranty and that new truck smell. Seems the interior has been tweaked a little. Finally, and this is a real possibility, if the projected inventory of 2024 AT4's is somehow wonky, seriously delayed or in any other way not going to allow for a super smooth transition from one rig to the other, I will simply keep this one (which I'm very happy) It currently has less than 16K miles on it. I'll just refinance it and reassess my options in a year or two. Got an appointment with the GMC dealer tomorrow morning and we'll see how it goes . . . A-Jay
  21. Pull 2 this morning. So Back & Biceps. Almost always feel this one the next day. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  22. Those baits are next to worthless. Send then directly to me for proper disposal. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200. A-Jay
  23. This is a little north of me, but it won't be long before we're surrounded. A-Jay
  24. What's not to like . . . A-Jay
