Total Body Day 2 this morning. Started of with a Step Back Lunge, which always gets my attention. Ended with some core work that just never gets any easier. Also I am enjoying eating perhaps just a little more than I need. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

I'll keep posting this is these threads. Perhaps one or two folks will 'believe it' and take it to heart. There's always a few extremes cases of remarkable survivability in cold water. However the grim reality is that there are far more losses of life. Stay Safe A-Jay

This pic is actually a couple of years old and doesn't exactly reflect the current deal. My gear has been assembled of the course of the last 16 years. Some of these have been replaced with others and there has been some 'additions'. When I lay them all out for 'cleaning' over the winter I'll get an updated pic. It always makes me smile when guys tell me that they show pics of my gear to their wives. I'm usually showing my wife puppy pictures. Fish Hard A-Jay

When reading posts regarding night fishing, those of us with 'some' experience doing it, can always identify others that do as well. It's so much different, and marginally addicting. A-Jay

You may need to rely on a 'Duty Driver'. Have someone drive you to the ramp, launch your rig and then pick you up at a designated time & place the next morning. Now that's an All Nighter. Good Luck A-Jay

Still waiting on the bone marrow biopsy test results. In the mean time, one of the infections that landed Lynn in the hospital for a month, is back. Stat blood test first thing in the morning, and then they'll formulate a treatment plan. Caught this one much earlier than last go around because we knew what to look for. Hope that pays off some how. Inner strength may be a skill but my emotions are about to go on auto pilot. Stay Healthy A-Jay

I've tried it 'both ways'. And both ways have productive days and perhaps an equal number of unproductive days (and nights) I am not sure having an unlimited or even a very limited number of options available is the 'key' to routine success on the water. However, being able to have some presentations that I am confident in during any number of bass fishing situations & conditions, has seemed to work out OK for me. And while there are a Bajillion baits & techniques available, over the course of a fishing season, there are many times where the 'conditions' repeat themselves, many times over even. Some of these conditions seem to routinely produce more & better fish for me. So this is where I like to focus my efforts. By having baits /presentations that I am confident in will get bites, and I mean the right bites, prevents be from fishing the wrong thing at the right time. Bottom line question may be, how many bait's & rigs does it take to cover that deal ? Might be just one or it could be quite a bit more than that. I'm still working on it. Fish Hard A-Jay

Tell me about it ! First my lease isn't up until Feb 24. "We better Order you one early, just in case" Did it last time, worked out OK. So we did. Then there's a strike, no clue what the deal is there. Next the darn thing shows up 5 months early (when does that ever happen?) OK, Cool. Maybe I can get this all done before the air temps bottom out into the minus numbers for a change. Ordered accessories & tires, everything's good. Even completed all the paper work in advance, just need to sign on the dotted line. Except . . . . . I need The Man to make it all go. Hope he get's a giant buck and comes back early ! In clear water, these work well for me. Long casts and Burned just under the surface, and I mean 'just under the surface'. Presented over hard & soft cover as well as across expansive 'flats'. Speed is your friend but the bait must run straight & true. A-Jay
