Me too. But whatever you do, Do not, I repeat, Do Not add the last one inch tail section of a MaxScent Flat Worm to that deal. Might get your arm broke . . A-Jay
  3. Am I a precision caster ? Not sure if I'd win any accuracy competition but I do take pride in launching a bait and having land where I want and need it to. Most of my deals are open water scenarios. However a near miss is as bad as a mile in many of them. Having a fish bust on bait on the surface, dropping my bait on her head and getting an immediate strike, is very satisfying. And to take the accuracy thing a bit further, being able to interpt relative bearing and distance using my electronics successfully enough to get bites, is a skill all in itself. Especially, at night. Ask @Catt Becomes particularly paramount when big brown bass are in super clear, skinny water. A-Jay
  4. Oh my, Hope everyone's OK. But let this be a lesson to you kids ~ Texting and Launching just don't mix. A-Jay
  5. Neither right now. He really likes my shoes though . . . . A-Jay
  6. Lookup the Duo Realis Apex Vibe F100 and the F85. The 100 is silent and the 85 has a subdued one knock. A-Jay
  7. Yes Just need to have the model that's designed to cope with the tonnage. The web site has units that are right for various applications. A-Jay
  8. I do not fish competitively. Nothing against it, just not my style. Love watching and learning though. Tournament Bass fishing has been a part of the sport for a long time. It's evolved quite a bit and the earliest versions were clearly quite a bit different than the product we see today. Somehow the bass survived all of it. I expect both these trends to continue & improve. Fish Hard A-Jay
  9. I appreciate the support @Catt, but I have no problem admitting that I am still a work in progress. Probably always will be. But as the years have gone by I do think I've gotten better. Night ops no doubt accelerated the process for me. Something I know I say much more these days is: "That was a fish" ~ And it often comes without a hook up but during a retrieve. Seems a fish will 'do something' (non visual) to disrupt a baits travel, regardless of which bait it may be. Routine offenders are spinnerbaits, most any crankbait, more recently a vibrating jig, and of course, a jig and / or rigged soft plastic. I do really like being able to know what my bait's doing and this may be an example of that. Sure seems to help when she does decide to latch on . . . #hithardandhope Fish Hard A-Jay
  10. I think you explained it well. And if I understand this correctly, a Parasite Clip works too. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Parasite_Clips_Stainless_Bait_Keepers_10pk/descpage-PC.html I use the small and medium sizes mostly myself. Been using them effectively for many years. A-Jay
  11. Good Luck with that ~ Btw, as noted above, sealer looks OK A-Jay
  12. I'm a big proponent of Right place, Right time, Right deal. This style offers many forks in the road. I've made far more 'wrong turns' over the years than the other. But I think going down a one way every once in a while can set me up for a few sweet cruises Right Down Broadway ! And that's what keeps me coming back ~ #Ijusthadafeeling Fish Hard A-Jay
  13. Best laid plans . . . This was a such a rare oppurtunity. Knowing the parents and lines doesn't happen often in a rescue situation. We picked him up the day after we re-Homed the foster husky. Been a bit of a whirl wind weekend for us. A-Jay
  14. Thank You Yes Male. A-Jay
  15. First, I throw down a cup of Joe. Next I throw the truck in drive. Then I throw the boat in gear. After that, everything is pretty fluid. A-Jay
  16. This one's treated me right so far ~ A-Jay
