  1. Both HUK & Columbia (PFG) make a decent quality product https://www.hukgear.com/collections/mens-shirts?_=pf&pf_t_type=collar&pf_t_sleeve=Long Sleeve https://www.columbia.com/search?lang=en_US&searchMethod=manualSearch&q=Mens long sleeve pfg shirt A-Jay
  2. Just one but there's decent storage space available if I want it . . . Including under the bench seating (not shown) ? A-Jay
  3. Favorite Lures ~ Most all of them can be found here . . . . . https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/gallery/album/2103-a-jays-baits/ A-Jay
  4. You either don't fish much or you do it in a vacuum. #notreality ? A-Jay
  5. Lawn Maintenance Day ~ (this is an older pic, I don't bag the clippings anymore) ? A-Jay
  6. Nicely Done ~ Night Ops are such a different bass fishing experience. I will offer however that super full & bright moon light events are usually tough sledding for me. Especially when compared to no moon totally pitch black trips. Clearly the full lunar experience can make the fishing a whole lot easier, but in the clear water here, the fish seem of act like it's high noon. The darker conditions routinely put the bass shallower and often more willing to take a poke at my baits. Just something to think about . . . Here's a little more info I typed up a while back on the subject https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/176285-night-bassing-~-a-jays-version/ Fish Hard A-Jay

  10. Timing almost always plays a role, but I'd be hard pressed to come up with something more dramatic than this current deal. Hope it gets better sooner rather than later. A-Jay
  11. Just a guy trying to stay in shape ~ A-Jay
  12. We've had Plenty of Summer Rain this year. Mt world is Very Green and I like it. However if it continues into the hard water period, we may get buried, I mean more than usual . . . . (hard to tell here but Tucker's a pretty big malamute) A-Jay
  13. I would go 30 lb braid mainline to a mono leader for abrasion resistance. You'll gain capacity & sensitivity as well as WAY less drag in tidal current. Good old Power Pro would probably do it. Fish Hard A-Jay
  14. My brown bass rigs all revolve around being balanced / matched set up; including drop shot rigs, regardless of fish size. We can start at either end. Rod, reel, line and terminal tackle, and in this case, bait, hook and weight. Or we can start by matching the hook size to the bait, ensuring sufficient hook gap exposure for easy deep penetration, and then match weight for depth & conditions, as well as the line type & size on the reel & rod. Either way, we end up with the same deal. So this may be one of the rare occasions where Size Doesn't matter. Fish Hard A-Jay
  15. Yup ~ And so is the return of "Sale Days" Go Sox ! A-Jay

  18. For baits & terminal tackle on FC, I have been using either a single or double San Diego Jam Knot successfully. From 25 lb line down to 6 lb and everything in between. Easy for me to tie correctly and so far, has been very reliable. A-Jay
  19. That Blockhead is good. The Outkast Tackle Perfect Ned Head is pretty decent as well https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Outkast_Tackle_Perfect_Ned_Head_3pk/descpage-OTPN.html A-Jay
  20. It may be hard for some to understand, how our friendships with dogs go hand and hand. Together you formed a unique and special bond. You've laughed, played, cared and shared, I'm saddened for you that Zeke's has passed on. A-Jay
  21. Treble hooks – I change them. All my topwater, jerk, rattle, square & crankbaits, even blade baits & spybaits all get aftermarket trebles. And topwater baits that have feathers, also get changed out, I just tie up my own. (So easy, even an A-Jay can do it) Mustad KVD 1x Strong 2x Short Triple Grip Treble Hook, Gamakatsu EWG Treble Short Shank Magic Eye and Owner Short Shank Treble Hook ST-35 all adorn my baits. Especially like that Owner ST-35 (Not for a tail hook though) as it features 150-degree Premium Point Position design, which splits two hook points out 150-degrees versus the typical 120-degrees between all three points. This allows the hook points to be positioned slightly farther out from your bait and help increase your hook up percentage. Opening the gap to 150-degrees also minimizes damage to your bait from the hook points, while keeping the hook points sharper over time as well. Note: Owner Stinger ST-35 Short Shank Treble Hooks are designed to be used with baits that have the hook hanger in line with the length of the bait. These will not hang correctly on lures that feature any hook hanger that is perpendicular to the length of the lure – some of the offerings from Megabass for instance. Had to include that because as great as these trebles are – they do not work in the situation described. Any & all questionable split rings are traded out for Owner Hyper wires. (including Line ties) Fish Hard A-Jay
  22. New for 2022 are two additional sizes of TATSU fluorocarbon — 17 and 22 lb test are being added to round out the offerings. I'm pumped about that 22lb ! Fishing south of the border, the 20lb can be a little sketchy and the 25 lb always seems just a little on the heavy side. Hope it comes out before we leave . . . https://seaguar.com/freshwater/fluorocarbon/tatsu Fish Hard A-Jay
