We Always get more bees with honey. Kill them with kindness but don't pay EITHER bill, until they straighten it out. By then, they may be glad they at least got the $$ for the actual patient who was treated. Good Luck A-Jay
  2. Since 1967 Mustang Survival have been saving Lives. For 55 years Mustang Survival has been engineering high-performance marine gear for military, coast guard, rescue personnel and law enforcement. With a focus on applied research and field testing, they are committed to the protection and enhancement of those who push themselves to extremes. IMO They build gear that saves lives and enhances performance. Nothing is infallible but I trust it with my life. I wear the Elite 28 Hydrostatic Inflatable PFDs. I take care of it and service them as required. Good Luck with you decision and Stay Safe. A-Jay
  3. Pileated Wood pecker. They are very cool and quite abundant up here too. We built special feeders just for them. One's they can actually fit on. A-Jay
  4. I use freezer bags. Always a little more stout. A-Jay
  5. After an off day, followed by Yard Work Day and then a full fishing day, I was finally back in the home gym for Workout Day 1. As an OG, taking too many off days in a row, makes getting back in the training groove a little rugged. Felt that way for this one. Still pushed myself through it but I was surely feeling every repetition. #borninfiftynine A-Jay
  6. Tank was a rescue from Texas. His mom was a White Shepherd and Dad was a Belgian Malinois. He show's some traits of both. We already had a little female White Shepard (also a rescue from Texas) and they get along great. A-Jay
  7. To a dog who is always up for any thing, any where & any time. Your true loyalty is only exceeded by your disproportionate athletic ability and good looks. Happy 4th Birthday Tank #tankslife A-Jay
  8. Right back at ya ~ ! A-Jay
  9. While I am very willing to admit that @Swamp Girl sets the pace, especially this season. I'm not so sure a bass can differentiate human gender before, or after they are caught. Or if it even matters. They just know they've been bested by the best. A-Jay
  10. Thank Sir ~ When the only time we're together is for a medical appointment, anything else is a total party. You know what it's like. A-Jay
  11. Always a special day on the water when I get to share it with my wife Lynn, regardless of the fishing. After a bit of a portage and some serious paddling, we did manage to bump into a few of the local bass & pike population. Which made the day all the better. Stick baits, Texas rigged plastics, spinnerbaits and vibrating jigs all took fish for us. Looking forward to the next one. A-Jay
  12. It's not really a race. As long as you are eventually able to collect every bait on the market. You should be good to go. A-Jay
  13. Pikers were chewing today ~ A-Jay
  14. Started off with some Pikers ~ A-Jay
  15. Here are on the road. Destination Lake Minichuck. Target species ~ Green Bass. On scene weather - a little drier than expected, at least for now with seasonably cool air temps and highly desirable cloud cover. This place is shallow with clear water and an obscured sky really helps the bite. we're going all in with Swim jigs, Wiggle wagons, Shpinnah-baits and some soft plastic. Here we go ! A-Jay

So much that's crazy good, no Great about this. First off, such clean quality bass. Then, such a gorgeous and fertile place to fish. Next, there's the catching of a bass every 5 mintes for 5 hours deal. Wow ! Pretty sure I'd need a passport to duplicate that action. Finally, and this is the capper, being able to use the words "your pond" while describing the day. Like I said, So Good. Congrats A-Jay
  17. Thank you my friend. Packing up the Go Pros now A-Jay
  18. Nice. Biggest killer of wiper blades for me is running them over a frozen windshield. #shredded As long as that doesn't happen, I'm good for a while. A-Jay
  19. After what seemed like forever, #hiatus I'm planning on being back on the water again tomorrow morning. Switching gears by targeting some green bass and fishing out of the Old Town Canoe. The best part is, it looks like my wife will be able to join me. Excepting a cloudy NW breeze with on/off showers in the morning. We'll be ready for whatever. I'm hoping the fish will be chewing a least a little and if I'm very lucky, I could be very busy net man for her the whole time. A-Jay
  20. Dealer installed as per the A-Jay Modification. Love the battery weight low, center mass and on the keel/centerline. A-Jay
  21. Mine is in the rod locker. TM batteries are in the also there just under that hood in front of the rode tube's pictured. A-Jay
  22. Trucks have batteries ? Haven't replaced one in long time. Of course, I'm in a new rig every 3 years so there's that . . . I did change wiper blades one time. 😎 A-Jay
  23. I am surrounded by mostly smallmouth waters. I rarely even fish for LMB here, and when I do, a 3 lber is a Big Bass. But SMB on the other hand is a different story. Waters without gobies, a 5 lb fish is a Big Bass. In the bigger goby 'infested' lakes, a 6 lb bronze back is a Big Bass. Interesting to note that most Big goby fed bass aren't particularly long. But what they lack in length, they often make up for with crazy, doesn't seem real girth; that extends all the way through the tail. I like those. A-Jay this is for @VolFan
  24. Popular but not my Favorite ~ * Wacky rigged Anything. * Neg Rigged anything * BFS (Bait Finesse System), Rods, Reels, and Line * GLIDE BAITS I like but don't hear much about ~ * Rapala Sub Walk * Parasite Clips Stainless Bait Keepers * Inverted paddle tail trailers on a wiggle wagon * Spike It Worm & Chunk Paint * American Fishing Wire Surflon Micro Supreme A-Jay
  25. The image of placing several lifeless bodies of every age and gender into body bags, has a way of burning into one's mind what happens when falling overboard and not wearing a Life Jacket. I wore Mustang Professionally and see no reason to change for recreational purposes. Stay Safe A-Jay
