  1. I have used both siege and elite and like them both. They are a little stretchy but have good manageability. The deep crank line isn't very abrasion resistant though.
  2. Wait for BPS to have a sale and get a Pro Qualifier.
  3. It's a code, plain and simple, the white one is a burst, and the black one is a catalyst. They don't need to say quantum, they're pretty much "re-paints", nothing wrong with it. They're old reels were Pinnacles
  4. Right now, I'd be prone to fill up on Booyah Bed Bugs and Boo Bugs
  5. I really like rootbeer, it's been one of my favorite colors since I started with crankbaits. I also fish shad colors, Normans redear, rapalas bluegill and bass, and chartreuse blue and black backs.
  6. Looking forward to putting them to the test We'll see how they stand up to these monster eastern ky bass ;D
  7. Love it, they really hit it out of the park with the cast and dialogue. "Oh, you're about to learn who you're gonna call....Ghostbusters."
  8. No particular order KIDS The Goonies Battle Royale The Hangover Dogma Honorable mentions Hard Candy The Departed The Notebook :
  9. I use two, one spinning and one casting, since you didn't specify, I'll list both. My spinning rod is a 7'M Damiki Dark Angel, my casting is a 7'M Daiwa Zillion. I want a rod I can hold tip up all day without fatigue but with plenty of backbone to bury the hook and I feel that both of these rods fill my needs.
  10. Trust me, alot of stuff gets bought and sold when there's ice out....well, maybe not in a retail setting
  11. Damiki uses a pretty neat holder on their Dark Angel rods.
  12. For a budget reel, I'd recommend a Pfleuger President size 20 or 25.
  13. I have been using 12lb XPS this year and like it better than any other FC I've tried.
  14. 7'M Daiwa Zillion Daiwa Alphas 103 12lb CXX Crystal Clear
  15. I was actually thinking about using it for casting crappie jigs for bass and panfish. There's somedays that I feel like fishing the smallest baits possible for anything that will bite and I figured a pixy would be the way to do it with a baitcaster.
  16. If you can get a Curado for 130, that's where it's at.
  17. I have had 2 Revo S reels, both were subpar for their price, they were rough, didn't cast very good, and felt labored on retrieve. I would say go for the citica, I've had one for a while and really like it. I've not used the quantums but I have a code and have really enjoyed it.
  18. For the most part, I change my baits with bronze hooks and ones i use the most often to owner stingers
  19. Not true, the gear ratio is the same for the Sol, Alphas, Alphas Itö, Alphas Type F and Alphas R Edition. my mistake...for some reason I was thinking the gear ratio was 6:1.....either way both are great reels, I think you'll really like tge type f
  20. Just picked up an amber orange pixy for $146 and was wondering how you think I did. It does have a small amount of boat rash but it's very light.
