Your motor should have come with a plastic quick connect to attach to your garden hose.

When you're fishing the humps, fish shallow to deep and switch over deep to shallow. They may prefer one presentation over the other. Also, if wind is a factor, fish the wind blown side(s) of the humps. If your partner is competing with you rather than against you keep a wacky worm ready to go on deck. If one of you gets a smallie, chances are there will be a few following it to the boat looking for an easy meal.

You're going to want to fuse the lights as well. Add up the total number of amps the lights will draw to come up with a fuse size. If they are rated by watts, you can calculate the amps by watts/volts=amps. Install an inline fuse near the battery on the + wire which is sending power to the switch.

I'd start at any of the 3 predominant points in the morning and pull back to the humps/flats as the day progresses. Is this for a tourney? How many acres?

How is that adaptor supposed to work? It looks to me like you would screw it to the side of the gunwale and then screw the buckle into the plate? The side of the gunwale is either wood or aluminum. There should be a gap between the side of the gunwale and the hull. (don't quote me on this LOL)

Without knowing the full amp draw of your motor, 50amp breaker would be a starting point for a 24v system. As far as wiring the lights, you would wire them in parallel. Make your connections with butt connectors and shrink tubing.

^^^This. Something else you can try when you're on the water if it occurs again. Put the boat in neutral and rev the engine (there is a button on the forward controls you depress and then push the throttle forward) to try and clear out any crap that may have entered the cooling system. Do this a few times. There is no load on the motor and with any luck it will clear it out without tripping the Guardian. Also, when you get home after fishing dirty water or water filled with vegetation, flush out the motor. On my Opti there is a flush port on the back of the motor just below the cowling. I assume yours may be similar. This is done with the motor off and it back flushes the cooling system.

You said the cat had markings like that on both sides of its tail fin? Rather than a parasite, I bet that may have gotten grabbed and dropped by a bird. I've seen herons pull 3lb bass out of the water like it's nothing and the cat looks about 5lbs

Love the color scheme on the hull. But the carpet? It's so....blue. Nice ride none the less. Drive it like you stole it and go catch some fish.

I've got the Tundra 4X4 as well. I have used the 4X4 if there's ice on the ramp. Otherwise, shutting off the traction control will get it thru most ramp issues.

Love it. Installed in April. No problems what so ever. The units were upgraded in October of 2012. They improved the clutch and added a flush port. I have the tilt bracket and locks installed as well.

The darker the water the darker the bait or the brighter the bait. The clearer the water the more natural the bait. Try and match the forage. If shad is the forage use a shad pattern if it's bluegills, use a bluegill colored bait. Trial and error. That being said, I believe a well placed bait trumps color choice.

We've been getting them all day on bright colored 'traps, swimjgs, and cranks in stained water. Buzzbaits and poppers during low light hours.

I used to use pork all the time. I stopped using it about 5 or 6 years ago. Plastics are maintenance free.

Colors=brown craw for flipping. Bull gill and white for swimming.

There are new 2012 998 SI units going for $1300 here http://www.universalmania.com/Humminbird_998c_SI_Combo.html These are non HD units which means they do not have LED back lighting. The same unit in HD is $300 more. I've bought 2 graphs from these guys. Customer service is good and shipping is fast.

Apologize for the man boobs. Fox chain on the 4th of July. Water temps 72-76 and water unusually calm this morning. Picked up 1 flipping and the rest on moving baits. Missed a few and got some small ones as well. Looks like the Rt.12 bridge is producing some walleyes. A bunch of boats fishing the bridge. Saw some decent size walleyes caught both early and later in the day.
