They're all good I fish the Chain alot. Bass, musky, walleye, and half naked drunk girls . Braidwood can be hazardous if you don't know where you're going. Shab has a motor restriction and I've only fished there from shore. Lasalle is an option. Heideke for whites, walleye, bass. Delaven and Geneva along with alot of smaller not so well known lakes in Wisconsin( Look up old episodes of Time on the Water. Will have a bunch of lakes to try).

Fished a tourney today and caught 30 or so short fish. Almost 100 degrees outside. No keepers for the weighin. Put the boat on the trailer and left. Just called a close buddy of mine to see how he did and his wife answered the phone. She drove him straight to the hospital from the ramp. He had severe chest pains. Has already had a heart attack 6 years ago and has stints in some of his veins

20 years ago maybe. Today, probably not. My body is messed up from being in the trades. I could imagine how messed up my body would be working on a crab boat.

They also darken up in the livewell. When we catch early season bass, just coming in form the deeper water, they are very light in color. Let them ride around in the boat all day and they darken up for weigh-in. Bass are so vain

Yep. Last one weighed in only 4 fish but won big bass caught on the bull gill swimjig. One more 2.5lb bass, which I lost in the trolling motor, and I would have cashed a check for 2 grand. I think I lost 6 or 7 of his gill swimjigs on miscelaneous snags and the one in the TM.

I'm in norhtern IL. I grew up in a fishing family, but myself and my son are the bass fishermen. The rest of the family, live and dead, are multispecies fishermen. As far as work, boss is a salmon guy, and one other coworker is a live bait guy for whatever he catches.. My buddies that hunt are walleye fishermen.

What I enjoyed most about that clip was the other children getting behind the kid and rooting for him. The fact that he is handicapped shouldn't matter but it does. My brother was born mentaly retarded and passed at the age of 35. We treated him no differently then we would anyone else. It's a shame people find special needs people easy targets to make fun of. If the btteries are good, all day. That's only a 12v motor. If you buy it, make sure you wire the batteries in paralell, not in series

The powerdrive is electric steer not cable steer. It doesn't have the instant response a cable steer unit has and takes a little more thinking (at least for me) to get used to. As far as mounting it can we get some pics of the boat? It will be easier to make suggestions.

Yep. Didn't want to fight the crowds on my home water on opening weekend LOL. There had already been an accident Sunday night where a speedboat ran over a pontoon and injured 6 people, one severly. DUI. This was actually part of the river my home water shares but, I was 30 miles south and much of the water isn't navigable. Went to looking for some smalies, which I did find although no size to them. I don't know if it's totalled or not. I added it to the pile to get repaired. New one was $119 at Cabelas. Ive been looking for a 14 or 15ft jon with at least a 42" bottom, but the "good" ones get scooped up before I get there. I may just say screw it and buy a new one. I've already got a 15hp evinrude in the garage just waiting for a boat.
