And I've honed in my offshore bass fishing because of walleye fishing. It's no mistake I catch bass when walleye fishing and no mistake I catch bass while panfishing. It's also no mistake that I catch walleye, pike, catfish, and panfish while bass fishing. An ecosystem is still an ecosystem. Bass cannot survive and flourish without the other fish. Everybody works together. Pay attention to all the fish in the lake, not just your target species. I might be an average to slightly above average bass angler but, I am well rounded with all species of fish in my home water(s). Semantics. A rifle, by definition, has a barrel longer than 16" and a stock that gets shouldered. The AR pistol has a barrel less than 16" and a brace that assists in firing the weapon with 1 hand. Were you to put a standard stock on a firearm with a barrel shorter than 16" it is called a short barreled rifle and needs special permitting. We all know that you do not need to shoulder a rifle to fire it and you can very well shoulder a pistol with a brace to fire it. Semantics No different than what we hear from the powers that be about AR's. I can buy a Mini 14 and have the same stopping power as an AR of the same caliber and have an extended magazine. The AR looks like a military rifle, even though it isn't, and gets people up in arms about banning them.

China makes both good and bad junk. A lot of the big box stores carry the junk. I'm not singling out BPS. Home depot's HDX products are garbage. It's all part of keeping prices low to the end user. Harbor Freight is hit or miss. Etc.

The reasons we are not producing lithium here are the same reasons we cut oil production and coal. The US could be completely independent and self sufficient in all aspects of life if the powers that be wanted it that way. I'll leave it at that.

China currently produces more than double the "clean" lithium than we do. It is my understanding that Elon Musk has purchased land out west and will be getting into the lithium mining business.

I don't disagree but, based on the OP, I interpreted it as "When can I save the most money?" I've owned 3 "real" boats, 2 of which I purchased new, and (2) 14ft aluminums. As far as the new boats, I purchased my Mirrocraft in December and the Lund in March. When I purchased them, price was important, but not the reason I purchased when I did. The Lund was bought off the sales floor. I wanted some additional options but opted for the floor model because tournament season began in mid April and to order a boat would have been 3-4 months. Now that I'm playing the market and looking to get into a larger more expensive rig, if I can save $20 or $30K off new...well that's a lot of Benjamins.

To change the tone of this thread, is there enough things on the property to keep a 5 year old interested for the day? I'm reading the promo and it mentions the Bass Fishing hall of fame and the IGFA hall of fame and the Johnny Morris museum. Or don't waste my time and money driving from Chicago?
