Issues with logging in / staying logged in

For the past couple weeks several times a day when I refresh a page on this site it shows me as a guest. I hit sign in but it just refreshes the page. I can refresh a few times and it recognizes me, or I can refresh several times and it doesn’t recognize me. If it shows me as a guest I can open a topic and while the page is opening it then shows me logged in.

Any ideas? I use a mobile device if that matters.

I had that deal going on last week

(I'm on a PC)

but it has mysteriously 'fixed' itself.

When does that ever happen.

Can you solve the mystery? It’s driving me bonkers.

Same here. Just occassionally happening. Like it is looking for a cookie that isn't there.

Yup, happened to me a bit too. Hasn’t seemed to do it in the last little while, but of course now that I’ve said that it’ll do it the next time I log on ?

Me too.

Same, happens on random parts of the forum and at random times for the past few weeks.

Same here, random times. If I click on Bass Fishing Forums, it shows e Not logged in, when I click on any of the forums, then it shows me logged in. Been happening for the last few weeks or so.

Me too. Every time. On a PC. Hit the submit button on a post and it's vaporized. However, it'll auto-reload once I can get the login to stick.

Same as A-jay, had it happening last week +/-, but it's gone now. If no one pipes in with ideas... From past experience clearing one's cache can clear some odd forum related issues. Might be worth having 1 person try it and see.

Log off, clear cache, log in.

Go to google and type clear cache for (fill in your browser) and you'll get a video on how to do it.

Dumb question, how do you clear your cache?

Just go to any large tackle store and it will be cleared.

Ahh clear your search history. That’s easy enough.

No, clear your cache.  Cached files are something different, though part of most browser cleanup functions.  For instance, I use Chrome, so I use a Ctrl-Shift-Del to bring up the window.

I usually have to try to remember 15 passwords after I clear mine

The worst. It's why I use a password manager now.
