March Sale
The only jigs I own. Mike has the best customer service around. Quality product, a great variety of skirt colors, custom builds, and I know for a fact he will answer any question you have or simply talk fishin' with you. In this day and age he and his business are a breath of fresh air. As long as he's building jigs I will buy them from him.

I've passed more than I care to say. I feel your pain brother! I have done everything they have told me and yet they still appear. I drink water like there's no tomorrow and do my best with regards to staying away from soft drinks, dairy, and broccoli. I simply know they will eventually happen no matter what I do. I have prescribed pain medication and wait it out.

Just for giggles, I'm going old school once this year. Anyone else done the same?

What tactic have you completely given up on?
I will catch a lot of grief but here goes. I gave up on a spinnerbait a while ago. I might fish one at night occasionally but during daylight hours I just don't.

Biggest Bass of 2023 ~ What Bait ?
I want to say a jig or beaver bait in the nastiest stuff I can find. But until at least September I doubt I'll be on the water much. In a normal year I would start fishing now. The biggest and what bait? Probably a jerkbait. I would prefer other baits but where I'm fishing now and the water clarity it's a jerkbait. Unless at night but that's for another thread.

Who is the biggest bait monkey here
The bait monkey: I probably fly under the radar simply because I have over 700 that I don't fish of the Rebel variety. As for the fishers, as I've gotten older and figured out what works for me I have scaled back. I fun fish except for twice a year (charity tournaments) and usually can fish the way I want. I try very few new things and add even fewer to my core group. One turning point was unopened packs of baits from the 80's in the year 2011. It was ridiculous. The other turning point was these are tools and some tools are more equal than others. So I'm happily not in contention but still have all I need.
