Ole Catt is a bottom feeder 😉 Once the boat comes down off of plane the first thing I grab is a Texas Rig, Wacky Rig, Shaky Head, Weightless T-rig, Carolina Rig, Jig-N-Craw, Mojo Rig, Rage Rig, Drop Shot or anything that takes me to the bottom. I'm gonna be casting, flipping, pitching, punching, hopping, dragging, shaking, dead sticking, or skipping. I don't care if its grass, brush, timber, rocks, docks, pads, lay downs, shore line or off shore. I don't care if its pre- spawn, spawn, post spawn, summer, fall, winter, morning, noon, or night. Give me 2 rod-n-reels with any of the above techniques & Catt be happy, happy, happy!

@MN Fisher & @A-Jay y'all ever stared at a screen? I've spent 100s of hours idling Toledo Bend staring at everything from a Fish-Lo-K-Tor to Mega 360. Staring at screens is part of structure fishing.

Yes Sir! 😉 Shallow water marshes, swamps, bayous, & rivers; no electronics nessary. On Toledo Bend I use a Hummingbird Helix 5 G2. I ain't even looking for fish, I'm looking for structure. I never idle over the structure I intend on fishing.

What are the odds! Of the several trips to Florida, I was staying with friends in Inverness. We fished The Ocklawaha 3 times. That area of Florida is very similar to South Louisiana, just deeper.

I still throw Mr Twister Phenom worms, Johnson Spoons, Snagless Sally, Jitterbug, Rattlin Rogue, alphabet crankbaits...if they work why y'all wanna stop throwing em! Never was a fan of pistol grip rods, I come from a saltwater background, Bull Reds will take that right out your hands.
